Chapter 5

Siennas POV

I can't believe it.

My family acting weird, the family that I felt like I knew but couldn't put names to faces, it's all coming together now. They planned this. Everyone but me new that he was here and they made me wait. . I should be mad but how could I be mad when this all resulted in me reuniting with Shawn.

"Hellooo, earth to Sienna" Shawn says as he waves his hands in front of my face snapping me out of my daze

"What?

"I said do you wanna take a walk with me, you know, catch up?"

"I'd love to" I reply "but I just want to go say hi to the rest of your family"

The air outside is crisp and cold on my skin. Shawn and I are walking along the street in complete silence, it's a comfortable silence though, which I did not expect considering I haven't seen him in 3 years.

He stops and leans against a brick wall. He is staring at me with this goofy smile plastered on his face.

"What?" I say

"Ahh nothing I just can't believe you are here. Right now. With me. You have no Idea how much I've missed you" he looks down smiling and shaking his head.

He is just so incredibly handsome and super charming I just can't help myself, I fling my arms around his neck and rest my head on his chest. He wraps his strong arms around my waist.

"I missed you more" my voice is muffled by his shirt but I can tell that he heard me because i can practically feel the smile that has made a reappearance on his face.

We just stay like this for a little while, his chin resting on my head and my head on his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat.

When we pull away I feel cold at the sudden absence of his warm body.

He slides down, his back against the wall and I do the same.

"We have got 3 years worth of catching up to do" he says turning his face to look at me

"I know" I reply

We both give a rough summary of what has happened in the past 3 years. I learn that he has continued his music and has become quite successful and also that he participates in an event called Magcon that I have never heard of. He always used to play the guitar and sing to me when we were little, it used to make me so happy, his voice is angelic.

"Sienna"

"Yeah"

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Ask away"

How is everything going?. you know with the bullying and stuff? Has it died down?

That was the question I was dreading. But it's shawn and I could never lie to him.

"To be honest, I still get terribly bullied" I say. My eyes start to tear up

He doesn't say anything, he just looks at me, so I continue

" and as much as I hate to admit it because it makes me look weak I-" the tears that were gathering earlier have now spilled out of my eyes onto my cheeks.

"Weak" he scoffs

"It makes you look anything but weak"

I give him a questioning look

"You see if you were weak you wouldn't even be here today, if you were weak you would have given up ages ago"

He has a point

"You Sienna are the strongest person I know and what I wanna know is how do you get through all this" he wipes the tears off my face with his thumb and caresses my cheek

"Through music" I answer honestly

"You sing?" He asks suddenly perking up, dropping his hand from my face

I nod my head "I wrote a song, but not particularly about how I felt"

"Well what is it about?" He asks

"It's kind of a reminder for myself and others that everyone is beautiful and-"

"I have to hear it" he interrupts

"But first, I have to hear you sing"

He starts singing I'm yours my Jason Mira's and I join in on the chorus and sing the second verse.

We finish and he just stares at me

Shawn's POV

I just heard Sienna sing and her voice is so amazing SHE is amazing, holy shit I am so lucky to be her best friend. To be honest I want to be more than that but I am scared that it will ruin what we have or that she doesn't feel the same way.
