Annabeth's PoV
Math was torture. Yeah Jason and Reyna were in there, along with this really cool girl, Nicole I think, but so was Miria, and this time she had backup. There was Max, a blonde guy with brown eyes, he played football and looked like it. Wes was another football player, he had brown hair and light green eyes. Tracy and Vivian were twins who wore matching outfits, black hair pinned up with a teal bow, teal shirts and heels, and a pink pair of jean shorts (emphasis on the short part). The last person was a guy named Blake who had reddish-brown hair, hazel eyes, and was definatly another football player.
Of course this had to be a sterotypical meeting, so while Miria, Vivian, and Tracy hated on Reyna and me, the guys started flirting. Since there's a chance Percy will see this I skip out on what they said, lets just go with I almost punched every last one of them.
I can't explain how relived I was to get out of there.
When I walked out of the room Percy was standing by the door. I immedatly walked over to him, "Hey Seaweed Brain, let's get to Greek class."
He grabbed my hand, and we started off to class, "What's up, Wise Girl?"
"What do you mean," the classroom was only a few feet away...
"You seemed really anxious to get away from math," he pulled me off to the side of the hall. "Is everything alright?"
"I just don't like math," that wasn't a lie, I don't like math at all.
"No one likes math, but that's not what's bothering you," gods he can be annoying.
"Look, if you're going to freak out everytime I'm ready to get from math to Greek you're going to have a long year," the entire math thing wasn't that big of a deal, just slightly annoying.
"Okay," when we walked into the class I wish I'd had a camera. "I knew The Seven were here, but everyone else is too?! Wait. Where are our Roman friends? And Nico?"
"They're in Latin, Kelp Brains," our red-headed oracle had walked over to see us.
"Hey, Rachel! Did you just combinde Thalia and Annabeth's nicknames for me?" Of course that's all he cared about...
"Pretty much, anyways sit down class is starting," Percy and I ended up in the middle of our friends, including JP, Robby, Alexia, and Skylar, then the teacher walked in she was a young woman with an athletic frame, no more than twenty-four years old, with curly blonde hair and grey eyes, she wore a light grey dress and tennis shoes.
Anything in ( ) is in Greek.
"(Hello)," she said as she walked into the class, "(I'm Miss Jones. Do any of you speak Greek?)"
Everyone, other that Miria, Max, Wes, JP, Robby, Skylar, and Alexia, raised their hands.
Alexia raised her hand, "I know a few words, but I don't know many."
"(Are you sure? You seem like you'd know some,)" Ms. Jones was smiling.
Robby raised his hand next, "Ms. Jones I think she'd know if she could speak Greek."
"(I'd think so too, but I think she knows more than she's letting on,)" our teacher continued.
JP just stood up, "Are you calling our friend a liar?"
"(Of course not, I was simply saying she doesn't know her own talents.)"
Skylar was the next to speak, "She's not stupid, she knows more about anything than any of her maturity level, ever."
"(Do you kids realize I haven't said a single word in English this entire time? Mr. Underwood have you tested them yet?)"
Grover nodded, "(They all came up positive.)"
"(Thanks! Anyone who can understand me is a demigod. I'm a daughter of Athena. Starting tomorrow I'll have to help the other students learn, but we should have lots of fun this year.)"
