Chapter 7: A Starry Secret

"Ok, did any of you find anything about rancora?" Vega asked. 

Everyone shook their head. 

"This useless, better call Auri and tell her we failed," Tessa said hopeless. 

"Being Zodicons is hard work, plus, I wish we could just be starlings here," Astra said tired. 

"I miss starland," Piper wilted. 

"We can't let the Constellation Council down-" Sage started as Marinette walked in along with Adrien. 

"Zodicons?Starland? Council?" Adrien said confused, "Please explain," 

"Who's Rancora and What's a starling?" Marinette asked, 

"Umm," Leona froze. 

"Look,I'll explain- we're starlings, magical beings from a world called starland that grant wishes for you wishlings, or earthlings, there are good wish orbs, which power starland. Bad wish orbs destroy starland, bad wishes are the source of negative energy, which is bad for starland, good wish orbs make postive energy, which is good for starland.We go to a school called starling academy where we are trained to do this, us 12 were secretly chosen to go down here before we graduate to grant 12 special wishes to save starland from increasing negative energy- all caused by an evil woman called rancora." Sage explained. 

"Oh, and we're all daughters of zodiac signs, which makes us zodicons, galactic warriors that receive missions from the constellation council," Gemma explained. 

"We were sent here to stop rancora from spreading negativity to wishlings," Cassie added. "She's here in paris,"

"Oh, and we are those heroes that ladybug and cat noir met earlier," Astra added. "We actually don't look like this, we just need to make sure we blend in with everyone, as zodicons our true appearance is revealed," 

"But negativity causes akumatized villains-" Adrien said. "Rancora must've teamed up with Hawkmoth," 

"BTW, Marinette is ladybug, adrien, and we know your cat noir," Sage pointed out. 

"How do you-" Adrien was shocked. 

"It's SO obvious," Gemma rolled her eyes. 

"Well, I guess that means we should team up," Marinette suggested as the rest of the girls and Adrien nodded.
