People might already hate me just from this chapter but whatever
Makeup IN A WAY is false advertising. Not that women or men are supposed to be like billboards or some shit it's just that you have to be physically attracted to someone. A lot of the time when you like someone you like them physically too which is a very important part of liking someone. YOU SHOULD BE PHYSICALLY ATTRACTED TO THEM. If you use makeup because you think it looks nice, you want to cover up some things you don't like then ok, that's fine, you're using it how it's supposed to be. But if you take off your makeup and your unrecognizable, like I have to do a double take because I'm not sure if it's you then there's a problem. IT'S CALLED BEING FAKE. Your making someone believe you look one way and there attracted to you like that when you really look another way. That's not fair to them but then people think they have the right to say "fuck you, why does it matter." IT DOES MATTER. If someone's attracted to me while I'm wearing lip-gloss and eyeliner when I take it off they should still be attracted to me because I will more or less look the same. If I put contour, highlight, overline my lips, fill in my eye brows and pretty much change everything about my face then that's whatever and it's my decision. But if someone sees me, likes me and i proceed to try and have relationship with that person, I should be honest with them. It's LIKE the equivalent to being cat fished in real life. I don't have a right to get mad when there no longer attracted to me because I completely changed my appearance. Once again to clarify physical attraction is just as important as emotional and mental attraction. I'm not saying makeup is bad, it's not but don't pretend that temporarily changing your entire appearance then switching up on someone is normal and ok. It's not.
