Smoke

His deep voice spoke, "take a seat."
So I listened, I sat in the chair all proper and neat.
He sent me a warm smile, taking a drag of his cigarette.
A cloud of smoke fell out his mouth and flowed around us as if it were wet.
"Just relax. You don't have to be so scared."
I slumped back in the chair, looking up at him - I studied and stared.
His long dark hair curled over his strong pale face.
I got lost in his cold blue eyes like stars get lost in space.
A smirk grew on to his freckled cheeks,
and his stare alone made me go weak.
With another drag came a cloud,
and although it were quiet my heart beat was loud.
The silence was broke
when he straightened up and spoke,
"You're just beautiful, you know?"
And then he took another hit, letting the smoke come out slow.
"Thank you," I grinned, "You're beautiful as well."
He laughed, "with all your staring? Yeah I could tell."
My cheeks rose pink,
my heart started to sink.
"Don't be shy, it was cute not gonna lie."
My cheeks grew red,
blood rushed to my head.
"Thank you," I smiled -
which I haven't done in a while.
His eyes searched mine,
his hand reached forward and I let our fingers intertwine.
I stood from the chair,
as smoke filled the air.
He took one last breath of the cigarette,
and out flowed the smoke as if it were wet,
and before I knew it, our lips had met.
A spark filled my veins,
thoughts drained from my brain.
His arms around my waist,
and my back his fingers traced.
My hands in his hair,
tugging the strands without a care.
He pulled away, only slightly,
a smile on his swollen lips, only lightly.
His forehead rested on mine,
"I want to kiss you for a lifetime,"
we said at the same time.
