Interrogation|Tape one
De'shante Miller, good friend of Isaiah's

Detective Bowden sat across from the anxious student, writing down small notes in his notepad. After minutes of complete silence, Mr. Bowden put his pen behind his ear, and glanced over at the teenage boy; who acting as if he was a deer in headlights, fidgeting with his fingers as he waited for his first question.

"Any water before we start?" asked the detective, the teen shaking his head in response. "Alright, De'shante, when's the last time you saw Isaiah Rivera?"

The kid licked his lips while he nervously tapped his foot against the marbled floor, "It was the day of his disappearance...I remember him telling me that he was gonna meet up with someone after school."

"Girlfriend?" Mr. Bowden questioned curiously.

"Nah, he mentioned them being a boy."

The detective nodded his head, removing the pen from behind his ear to write down what he heard.

"And what was the boy's name?"

De'shante shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know, he ain't really explain to much about him."

Mr. Bowden pursed his lips in a thin line, "Has Isaiah ever participated in gang-relating activities?"

De'shante furrowed his brows, soon shaking his head. Mr. Bowden shot him a questioning look, causing the boy to grow irritated.

"I'm pretty sure Isaiah has not," De'shante assured, confidence in his tone.

"Has he ever provoked or mentioned provoking a gang?"

"Sir, he ain't no gang member," the boy irritatedly responded, a look of agitation written across his face.

Mr. Bowden let the subject rest, not wanting to irritate the boy any longer. However, he kept the thought in the back of his head.

"Did Isaiah have any conflict with a student within your school?" the detective asked.

De'shante rubbed his chin, "Uh, yeah, this weird dude named Stokeley...they fought at Dave n' Busters a month ago."

"What for?"

"Don't really know, all I know is that he's really weird."

Mr. Bowden hummed in response, writing down Stokeley's name in his notes. When he was done he excused De'shante, preparing himself for the next person to interrogate.

Interrogation|Tape two
Remaj Benfro, good friend of Isaiah's

Detective Bowden poured another cup of water, sighing to himself as he took a sip of the aqua. Bowden began to have doubts about this next one, considering he didn't get much information during the first interrogation.

"Are you ready?" the detective asked, clicking his pen, earning a nod from the boy. "Do you remember the last time you saw Isaiah?"

"I've been on vacation with my family, so I haven't seen him since his party," Remaj responded, keeping a chill and layback vibe.

"Party? Anything particular happen at the party?" Mr. Bowden asked, curiosity laced in his voice.

Remaj shrugged his shoulders, "I don't really remember, it's been a while."

Mr. Bowden wrote down in his notes, silence between the two for a few seconds.

"I did hear 'bout this dude Stokeley Goulborne, though. Heard he was messing with this guy named Jahseh at the party, and apparently Isaiah wouldn't shut up about it," Remaj added, causing the detective to furrow his brows.

"I thought you didn't remember anything about the party?"

"I don't, but everyone was talking about it the next day before I left for vacation," Remaj replied, the detective jotting down what he heard.

"Any particular reason why Isaiah was so intrigued?" Mr. Bowden questioned.

"No, I don't know why," Remaj retorted.

The detective sighed to himself, feeling as if he was getting nowhere with the case. However, before he could excuse the teenager, Remaj brought up a certain topic that caught the detective's attention.

"I mean, Isaiah mentioned that him and Jahseh were good friends in the past...and the fact that Stokeley was the one messing with Jahseh is actually kinda scary. So I would see why he'd freak out about such a thing."

Mr. Bowden furrowed his brows in confusion, "And why's that?"

"Well, last year there was a huge rumor going around Broward about him," Remaj started, "apparently he was involved with the death of his dad."

"...Go on," the detective pestered.

"Heard he stabbed his dad 'bout eight times, which was why nobody really hung around him," Remaj explained while Mr. Bowden wrote down every detail.

"Hmm, interesting...I heard that the two were feuding, could that possibly be because of the situation that happened at the party?"

"Nah, they were beefing before the party," the boy replied.

Mr. Bowden rubbed his chin, "...Do you know anything about the conflict between the two? Why they were fighting to begin with?" the detective asked, hoping for an answer.

"Nah, I don't."

"...Has Stokeley ever mentioned being in gang before?" the detective asked.

"I wouldn't know...I don't talk to him," Remaj responded. "He don't seem like the type...but I mean,  ya never know."

Possible suspect: Stokeley Goulborne, the detective wrote in his notepad.

"Do you know anyone who could possibly give me more information about Stokeley?"

The teen contemplated for a second, "Denzel Curry, I've seen him hang around Stokeley."

"Alright, thank you for cooperating, you've helped a lot," Bowden spoke, a small smile plastered across his face. Soon enough the boy dismissed himself from the table and walked out of the office.
