Friday

Destiny's POV

I woke up to the buzzing of my alarm clock.

It was finally Friday, the last day of school and the day of the party.

I quickly got dressed and grabbed my blue and white beanie. I shoved my mint hair into the beanie and slipped it over my head. I didn't know if the school would mind if I wore it the last day but it was worth a try.

After getting ready and eating, Denise and I ran outside and got on the bus.

We made our way to the back where we saw Josh sitting. He greeted us like normal.

I got a 'hey' and Denise got a...well you know...an 'I love you' and they probably started making out...

I don't remember...

Haha anyways,

As usual I gazed out the window and Denise and Josh talked the whole way to school. We arrived at the school and got off the bus. We went to our lockers and got our books.

And so the day began.

It was Science, the class right before lunch. Everything had gone good so far except for the usual teasing and dirty looks from Brittany.

Anyways, about half way through science, the teacher looked up at me from her paperwork.

"Ms. Luis, take off your hat. You know the rules," our science teacher said. I glanced over and saw Brittany smirking at me. Denise looked worried and mad at the same time. Josh was looking at their expressions in a confused way.

The science teacher looked up and told me again.

"Ms. Luis, take off your hat," she said. I took in a deep breath and raised a hand to my head. I grabbed the front of my beanie and slowly started to pull it off. It came off and my mint hair tumbled out. There was a strange silence before the laughs burst out in the room. I could feel my face getting red and my eyes getting orange (I was embarrassed). Brittany was laughing along with the rest of the room, Josh looked really confused, Denise looked really mad, and the teacher stared at me like I was crazy.

"And Ms Luis," she paused. "What on earth possessed you to do this?"

"I didn't do this," I said. She just laughed.

"So your telling me that you just woke up with green hair?" she asked. Denise spoke up.

"She didn't do it. Brittany did," she said. The teacher cocked an eyebrow.

"Is that so? Well, Brittany? Did you do this?" she asked. Brittany, still smirking, shook her head. Denise looked really tired of it.

"Oh, come on. What did you expect her to say? Yes, I put dye in Destiny's shampoo all because I didn't get to talk to Josh first? Seriously. You are causing all this trouble because you didn't get to talk to my boyfriend first," she said. Brittany looked interested.

"Oh, so Josh is your boyfriend now? What did you have to do to convince him to 'like' you?" Brittany asked. She looked like she was planning something, Josh still looked confused, and Denise looked extremely agitated.

"Oh, get over it! What is your problem? And leave my friend alone. You have no idea what she's going through," she said harshly. Brittany rolled her eyes.

"Oh, please. Does someone have home troubles?" she said, turned to me, and speaking in a voice like an innocent little child.

"Enough! Stop this. Its time for lunch. We will talk of this no longer. End of conversation," the teacher said. I glanced over at Brittany and she gave me one more dirty look before we all lined up for lunch. I felt someone staring at me, so I turned around and saw Josh staring at me with the same confused expression. I just shrugged.

We arrived at the lunchroom and got our food. We all walked over to our table and sat down.

"Okay, so, what the crap was all that?" Josh asked. I took a deep breath before explaining everything about the day that he first came to school and about how Brittany pulled me aside and threatened me. I told him everything about how I had seen her at the hair salon and that my shampoo had looked different and it turned my hair green.

I finally finished my story and Josh just stared at me.

"Okay, two things. First thing, she is completely out of her mind. And second thing, I mean it doesn't look that bad," Josh said. I shrugged.

We finished lunch and went through the rest of our classes. It was the last class of the day and the teacher said, that since there was really nothing for us to do, we could stand and talk to our friends.

Denise, Josh, and I stood together in a group and talked about the party. The bell rung and kids started running down the hallway. We piled on to the bus and started our way home. Once we got to the apartment, we got off, telling Josh we would see him later.

Once we went inside, we started cleaning and getting ready for the party.

About an hour later, I heard a knock on the door. I stuffed my hair into my beanie and situated it on my head. If its Rose and Jonas I don't want to shock them too badly, especially because it's a first impression to Jonas.

I took in a deep breath and walked to the door.

I swung the door open to greet whoever was there.

Hey guys!

So Brittany is not so much in the sunshine happy fun times club...

More like in the shadow of evil club...

But that's her role in the story and whatnot
