When the bell rang, I immediately rushed with a half-asleep Lara outside class and hid between the many students walking around. Why, you ask?
Well, because after I was hit with that creepy note, I looked behind my back to see him with a stupid smirk on his face.
And guess what?
He had the audacity to wink!
Who does he think he is?
Anyways, the rest of the hours passed by and it was finally lunch.
I was so hungry. And when I'm hungry, I'm even grumpier than I normally am when I lack sleep. So that says a lot.
I search for Lara and my other best friend, Jason.
Let me tell you about Jason. He's tall and handsome with blonde hair and blue eyes that seem to attract most of the female population, and some of the males too.
So you definitely wonder why he's friends with me.
Well it's a very interesting story. When you're a little girl that turns into a deep red tomato whenever someone talks or looks at her, you probably need someone to back you up. And that someone has always been Jason. He's been there whenever I was unable to reply to a bunch of bullies.
Don't get me wrong. I am able to fight for myself and shut bullies out. But sometimes it gets a little out of hand and it might need a little Jason power. Because what's better than a best friend to kick the people that annoy you in the ass?
So one time, while I was in the park, playing on the swings, which by the way, are my favorite, some guy decided to just throw me out of it.
Like seriously? My 7 year old self can HURT you. You should be afraid.
However, while I was trying to get up, with a bunch of blood on my arms and legs, to show him a piece of my mind, someone else was doing that for me. And it turned out to be Jason.
Ever since, he's been there, and I'm extremely grateful for him, even though I pretty much annoy him all the time.
I see them sitting at our usual lunch table. Not too much in the middle, where you always attract attention, and neither in the back.
As I make my way to them, me being my clumsy self, crash into a wall.
Wait a second. That is definitely not a wall.
Last time I checked, a wall didn't move, and definitely had no hard eyes that were able to murder you in one stare.
"Watch where you're going idiot." A guy I've never seen in my whole life rudely says.
"Ok sorry. My bad."
"What are you, blind?"
"Dude. Take it easy. I accidentally bumped into you. Chill."
"Don't talk back to me. Or you'll honestly regret it." He warned me.
Hah. As if I care. Remember the time I told you I was able to fight for myself? Yeah here it is.
"Ok listen to me you arrogant asshole. Who do you think you are? I'll talk back to whoever I want. Whenever I want. So tone down your attitude and go to hell."
His eyes darken and he starts coming forward.
Woah man, you gonna hit a girl?
As he's approaching me, someone comes out and calls him.
"Hey man, what's the matter?" The guy known as Mr. Andrews, whose name I haven't figured out yet, said.
"This thing right here, thinks she can bump into people and rule the place." He replied
Thing?
"Come on man. Let it go. Don't waste your time." Andrews replied in an arrogant tone, but I didn't miss the caring look in his eyes that appeared for a short second.
They both walked away and I was left thinking,
Wait what? Caring eyes?
