They were supposed to meet eachother just once then it became twice, thrice and eventually became a daily routine. Everyday, Dylan would wait for Yue infront of their campus and they would stroll around, eat somewhere, play at the arcade and talk about random things while walking home.
Yue always look forward to meeting and spending time with her one and only friend.
4:55pm
Yue's been waiting for almost an hour now but Dylan is still not around.'Would he still come today?' She asked herself as she keeps looking around, hoping to see him.
"Five minutes more, Yue." she told herself, making her way to sit on a bench nearby.
6:02pm
She sighed as she look up.He's still not around.
She just decided to leave already, thinking that he will not be coming today.
"In the end they will just get bored of being with me. Why did I even had my hopes up?" she told herself while kicking some pebbles as she walks.
---
"AHHHHGGH!" a young man yelled loudly, he was already sitting on the ground with his face full of wounds and bruises."We don't really want any trouble now but you keep teasing us." Caesar told the man they ganged up, looking down on him.
"That's what you and your friends will get when you hurt one of our gang." Connor added.
Dylan ruthlessly kicked the young man on his stomach, making him yell loud again.
"Know your enemy." he said angrily.
"That's enough, they will surely watch their actions from now on. Let us not waste more of our time on this weakling." Darren, who's leaning on the wall and been watching his friends throw punches on the man who hurt one of their gang member, finally spoke.
"Let's go, guys." Connor said and they all left that dark narrow street.
"I miss doing that!" Connor happily said while stretching his arms as they walk, missing the feeling of being in trouble.
"How I wish he was with his friends, the more the merrier!" Caesar added.
"What time is it?" Dylan asked in his usual irritated tone, grabbing Darren's arm to check on his wrist watch.
"6:45?!" he almost yelled when he saw the time.
"It's 5:45, don't you still know how to read time in analog type?" Darren said, obviously teasing his friend.
"Tss, it just makes life so difficult! There's a digital clock why use that analog one? I'm going ahead!" he said, walking faster but Connor got in his way.
"Where do you really go these days, huh?" He asked, acting as if he knows nothing.
"I have important things to do." Dylan answered as he pass by his friend.
"Connor, you should've known it already that girls are really important. They should always be your number one priority!" Caesar said and Dylan stopped his tracks as soon as he heard it.
"What are you saying?" his forehead creased in asking that question.
"Dylan Wang, who's known as the king of gang riots, is such a bad liar." Caesar continued, shaking his head as the three of them passes by Dylan who's standing still.
"We should change his title now to king of denials," Connor said, Darren and Connor chuckled.
"What was her name again? Yue?" he continued, saying it loud enough for Dylan to hear."I find her cute." Darren said.
"Hey!" Dylan reacted right away, strangling his friend using his arm.
"Do you think we will not be able to find out about that 'special project' that you're doing?Tss." Connor again said.
"How did you all know about it?" Dylan asked.
"Because we're your brothers," Caesar said with a confident smile. "You should introduce us to her!" he continued.
"I don't want to, someone might steal her away." Dylan answered, strangling Darren again with his arms.
"I think she would like m--Aww!" Darren wasn't able to continue what he wanted to say when Dylan tighten his strangle on him.
"What is it??" Dylan asked, teasing his friend.
"But seriously, we really do want to meet her." Caesar said, walking with his hands on his pocket.
"If you want to...then fine. But let's do that tomorrow, I really need to hurry now. I'm going!" he told his friends then ran away fast.
"Love really makes a difference," Caesar said, watching his friend run fast away from them.

6:13 pm
Dylan was busy kicking some pebbles while standing infront of huge house when he saw the one he's been waiting for.
"Yue," he called as he approach her.
He couldn't see any reacrion on her eyes, not like the days that they have been spending time with eachother where he can clearly see her happiness.
"Ah..I'm sorry. S-something just came up...Are you mad at me?" he asked.
"Why would I get mad?...I don't even have the rights to feel that way." she answered and already headed inside.
"Yue!!" Dylan shouted but she already closed the gate.
"Psh!" he told himself as he kick the lamp post.
"Aww!!" he yelled in pain after doing that.
'Why does she act so cold today?' He asked himself and could help but scratch his head because he cannot think of an answer.
