I've Got You Abby

Eliza POV

I wake up and Alex is already dressed and walking out the door. He brings me water and gives me a quick peck before saying,
"Love you babe,"
"Love you too," I say with a smile.
I roll out of bed and decide to get dressed and head out for a run. I can't lay around all day I'll go stir crazy. It's too busy for me to run pregnant in this city area so I drive out of the city and into the country area. When I'm out running I see a girl crying with bruises all over her.
"Are you ok?" I asked her.
"Oh yeah I'm fine I swear," she says as she wipes away her tears but I can tell she isn't.
What's your name?" I ask her.
"Abby,"
"I'm Eliza,"
"Eliza I told you I'm fine,"
"I would love to help you if you'll let me," I tell her.
She just nods and I take her to my car.
"I'm not gonna kidnap you so you don't have to worry," I tell her and she gives me a weak smile.
"I'm hurting here, here, and here," she says pointing to her shoulders, stomach, and her downstairs if you know what I mean.
"Is it ok if I lift up your skirt I have a portable ultrasound in my car because I'm a doctor."
"Yes,"
"Ok good now you're just gonna feel a bi-"
I stop as I lift up her shirt. There is blood and bruises everywhere. She looks at me and shows me her ring. I grab her hand as I say,
"I've got you Abby,"

I know it's short but I'm working on the next chapter
