That night

I took a shower and found a very confused Kol sitting on the sofa "I know that look, that's the 'what have I missed?' Look you have when you can't understand something. What's on your mind" I sat next to him drying my hair with a towel "while I was under Kai's spell, did we, y'know?" I smiled and nodded " have sex? Yea. My uncle actually gave us times we could and couldn't have sex, but we did it day and night" he looked a mix of concerned and surprised "I'm kidding Kol, we did it once...with makeout sessions the whole two days that followed" he relaxed into his seat "then what?" I shrugged "then you left"

I saw sadness in his eyes "and I saw you searching and calling for Davina. When you were klaus, klaus was you, he said you were also with Davina" there was an awkward silence when his eyes dropped to the floor "were you?" He looked at me for a while contemplating if he should tell me or not " god Kol, just say it!" He looked back down "for a short while...it wasn't serious" I got up and threw the towel back into my room "wasn't serious?! She was your wife Kol! Of course it's serious! God how could I be so stupid?! To think if I actually stayed here and trusted you, you wouldn't break my heart but yet again here we are!" It probably didn't help that I was craving blood but he definitely wasn't doing any good "Listen to my heartbeat and tell me if I'm lying to you" he sped in front of me grabbing my arms so I couldn't break anything out of rage "you've been at this game a lot longer than I have, you have a way to steady it when you lie" he smiled gently and shook his heade

"Listen...I was with Davina Claire...it wasn't anything meaningful" I listened carefully, I didn't hear a falter, not a single one. But I wasn't sure if I heard wrong so I waved my hands "I-i don't kno-" he put a finger on my lips "did you hear, a falter?" I shook my head "no, no I didn't but I don't know anymore" I felt him pull me into a hug "you're going to have to trust your senses darling if you want to make it past the shadow hunters" I returned the hug gently "why won't you let me back in Thea?" I leaned into him "it's happened too many times. Part of me saying to let you in and another is putting up walls, I don't know what to do or who to trust anymore" I felt his hands grow closer to my ass, I know what he wanted but I wasn't leaving him unpunished. I pulled away smirking, in the next few days I was going to torture the hell out of his ass, and the best part was that he really had no idea.

I changed into my underwear and put an oversized t shirt over top and took out a book then walked to the island and started to 'read', I occasionally peaked over my shoulder to catch him smirking at me then when he would see me, he'd look away but I'd still see the corner of his mouth turn up. I had the satisfaction of seeing that I was the one doing this to him. I turned the page and smiled "Do tell what is so interesting about my backside" I heard a laugh behind me "I didn't realise how well my t shirt fit you" I was expecting some sort of flirty comeback but nothing came "Who are you and what have you done with Kol Mikaelson?" I spun around to se if he was grinning or biting his lip " I thought we'd come to an understanding, darling, that I was here for protection purposes only" I raised an eyebrow "Since when does Kol Mikaelson give up?" He started smirking and started fast walking towards me "Never"

His lips latched onto mine hungrily, I felt his need and tensioning love for me, and I think he knew deep down that I was just playing around as well, and actually needed him just as badly. The truth was that I was playing hard to get to make him fall back for me, even if he was in love with me, I needed certainty that I wasn't just grasping at straws, that the legendary Kol Mikaelson actually felt something for me, that he needed me once again, that I was the one he craved to have back in his vampire life. And it seemed I was right and he seemed to need me more than I had anticipated. He lifted me up and hooked my legs around his waist, before I knew it he dropped me on the bed. I think we all know how this evening ended
