Hey guys! I'm really sorry that I haven't been uploading for a while. I've had a really busy time these last few weeks and it took me a long time to write this chapter. This is the longest chapter I've written yet! From now on I will try to upload whenever I can. Thanks for reading this book! I really appreciate it!

Virgil and the other explained what had happened to them in the last few weeks. Once they were done with their story, everyone was quiet. Virgil sank back into his chair, shutting his eyes, trying to push down the panic that was pushing up into his stomach. Talking about everything was making him remember the torture that he had been through.

Patton had started crying and he couldn't stop. Everything was pouring out of him, all of his worry about the other sides, the pain of his mental torture, and reliving it had made it impossible for him to forget about it.

He began to shake and sob. Everyone stared at him and then he felt warm, strong arms, encircle his body.

He sank into Logan's arms and sobbed into his chest. Logan whispered to him and looked down at him sadly. He rubbed Patton's back and told him to, "Let it all out."

Patton's sobs died down and Logan could feel him relax. He picked up Patton and laid him into a spare bed in a guest bedroom.

The other sides watched them and once they had left everyone started to all talk, Shyness and Sleep asking questions while Roman tried to answer them.

Virgil tried to breathe, breathing in through his nose and letting shuddering breaths out of his mouth. The others were all talking around him and the voices blurred into the background until he could only hear his own heartbeat. He pulled at his hair and put his hood over his head trying to find comfort.

No one seemed to notice and he started having trouble breathing. His hoodie wasn't helping so he reached out to the closest comfort, which just happened to be Roman's arm.

Roman looked down at him confused and his eyes filled with worry when he saw Virgil, who looked even paler than usual. He sat down next to Virgil and transformed the chair he was sitting on into a coach.

Virgil protested the use of magic weakly, "Ro-" He cut himself off, not wanting to tell the new sides the others' names. Virgil trusted his old friends but he knew that the others didn't and he wanted to respect that.

Roman didn't say anything and Virgil continued to panic.

Roman watched Virgil with an odd expression on his face. He gently put his hand on Virgil's shoulder.

Virgil felt the weight and it seemed to connect him to the world and stopped him from drifting into his mind.

It took all of Roman's will power to stop himself from hugging Virgil but he knew that Virgil wouldn't appreciate the contact. At that moment, Virgil just needed to know that someone was there.

The two sides didn't notice that Sleep was watching them thoughtfully with a growing smile on his face.

Logan returned to the room and ran his hand through his hair tiredly.

Virgil looked up at him, silently asking about Patton.

Logan sank into a chair looking exhausted, "Patton is asleep."

Everyone was quiet and Logan let his head drop into his hands.

After a few minutes to collect his thoughts he lifted his head and scanned the room with calculating eyes, "Virgil, Roman, when do you think that you two will be able to fight Deceit?"

Roman who still had his hand on Virgil's shoulder answered, "I think that I should be ready by tomorrow but I'm not sure about Virgil."

Virgil shot back to the present and glared at Roman.
