"If we turn Pettigrew in that means I'm free," said Sirius. "And I'll probably get a pretty big compensation payout from the ministry for being falsely accused."

As we climbed out of the tunnel, Sirius walked closer to the castle and stared at it in awe.

"Go," said Hermione, gesturing to Sirius.

"No it's fine, I'll stay," Harry insisted. "Ron's hurt."

"You go, we'll stay," I said to Harry.

Harry got up and walked over to Sirius.

Harry's P.O.V.

"The castle is beautiful. It will be nice to be there again as a free man," Sirius said. "I do think I owe Ron an explanation. That night I broke into the common room, I had the wrong bed, I was looking for you, not to kill you of course. The knife was for self-defence. Harry, I'm not sure if you know but I'm your godfather."

"I know," I said.

"I have a house, it was where I grew up. I'll be going back there, and I was wondering, maybe you would like to live with me? I mean I get it if you want to stay with your Aunt and Uncle," Sirius told me.

"I'd honestly love it," I said. "The Dursleys are jerks."

"Do they not treat you well, Harry?" Sirius asked.

I shook my head no.

"I'm sorry about that Harry. But I can promise you a good home with me. Tell me about your friends?" Sirius asked.

I turned around and saw my three best friends sitting at the base of the tree, talking and joking and I smiled.

"Well, them on the train when I first came to Hogwarts. Ron's a Weasley, he's got heaps of siblings and they all treat me like family. Hermione's amazing, she's one of the smartest people I know, and she's a great friend. And Charlene, she's my favourite person in the world. My girlfriend and my best friend," I explained.

"Reminds me of you and Charlene's parents. I mean, James and Lily hated each other before they became friends. Then James asked Lily to be his girlfriend. William and Louise on the other hand, they were best friends, I believe they met straight after the sorting, Louise sat next to William at the Gryffindor table after she was sorted. Charlene looks just like her mother, Louise, and she reminds me of William, so much. You four remind me of James, Remus, William and Peter and I at school," Sirius told me, tearing up.

"Harry!" Yelled Hermione from behind me.

Sirius and I whipped around, the full moon was rising. Lupin was staring at it and began twitching. Sirius ran over to Lupin.

"Remus! You haven't taken your potion tonight! Remember who you are Remus! Remember who you truly are!" Sirius said.

Charlene's P.O.V.

Lupin's wand dropped out of his pocket, and only Pettigrew and I saw it. Pettigrew was quick to grab it and I yelled "Expelliarmus!" And the wand was then out of Peter's hand.

As Lupin finished his transition and stood menacingly in front of us, Snape ran out from the tunnel, perfect timing I might add, and stood in front of us, shielding us from Lupin the werewolf.

Pettigrew gave a little wave and started transforming into a rat. Once he was fully transformed, Lupin escaped Sirius's grip and ran into the forest, Pettigrew escaped seconds after. Harry attempted to run after Pettigrew.

"Harry! It's not safe with a werewolf out there!" Hermione yelled.

I took off after Harry, the others calling for me to come back. I ran as fast as I could, calling Harry's name, but I couldn't see him.

That's when I saw Pettigrew, the rat, on the ground. I dove down and quickly caught him, keeping a tight grip on the rat before continuing to search for Harry.

"Petrificus Totalis!" I said, pointing my wand at Peter, now he couldn't escape.

"Charlene!" Called Harry, running over to me.

I grabbed onto Harry's middle. "I got him."

"You're amazing, you are," Harry said. "Hang on..."

And there Lupin was, right in front of us.

Harry pulled us behind a tree and we hid there. I held tightly onto Harry. We stepped quietly around the tree, attempting to escape and Lupin was in front of us yet again.

Harry shield me with his arms and turned me away from Lupin. I hugged him tightly, preparing to be attacked, except we weren't. I looked back, and Sirius was attacking Lupin.

"Let's go," Harry said.

I held his hand and we ran out of the forest, back to the others.

"Are you guys okay?" Hermione asked, embracing us both.

We nodded.

"We have to get Pettigrew up to the castle," I said quickly.

"Did you catch him?" Sirius asked from behind us.

I nodded.

"Good job, Charlene. Thank you," said Sirius.

"Yes Miss Connor, good job," said Snape.

I gave them a smile and the six of us made our way up to the castle.

It was the end of another year at Hogwarts. Lupin had unfortunately resigned. He was the best teacher we ever had, and we all let him know in our last class. We threw him a party, he loved it. Lupin gave Harry back the map and Sirius was a free man. The ministry gave him lots and lots of gold as compensation for being falsely accused. 

Hermione dropped a lot of subjects, gave back her Time-Turner and Harry's going to be leaving the Dursley's, I'm so happy he's happy. It feels good to finally know the truth about my dad.

"I wonder what kind of Dark Arts teacher we'll get next year?" Seamus asked as we boarded the Hogwarts Express.

"Maybe a vampire," Dean guessed.

"I just hope it's someone good," Draco said.

"Why's he here?" Ron said, rolling his eyes.

"He's alright," I said.

"Yeah, remember I helped you guys in second year with the Basilisk and everything?" Draco asked. "And I can get you guys tickets to the Quidditch world cup. Father'll give me some, but he doesn't have to know who I'm giving them too."

There was a cheer in our carriage, it was going to be another great Summer. 

i've kind of been following the original storyline, but starting next year you'll be able to see more of my original storyline in this book. obviously, i'm writing draco differently in this book. but don't worry, he's not going to be all buddy-buddy with the gryffindors for the whole story. thank you to all my amazing readers, i love all of you. <3 :) xx
