*zzzzzzzzz* My phone alarm goes off, but I am to tired to turn it off because of my lack of sleep. *zzzzzzzzzz* It goes off again, this time I grab my phone in a hurry to shut it off because the sound was really annoying me. I couldn't sleep, after Seth left all I was worrying about if was he got home safe. Getting a bit paranoid I grab my phone so I could text him.

Me: Seth are you okay? Did you get home safe.

(A few moments later)

Seth: Yes Mia I'm fine, I told you I have street smarts. I have to go I'll see you at school Mia.

Me: ok Seth see you at school. I love you too.

I put down my phone and sighed. I was tired, all I wanted to do was go back to sleep. I yawn, I get up and walk in the bathroom. I look in my mirror and I discover how awful I look. There are dark bags under my eyes and my hair is a tangled mess. I was just about to reach for my phone but I stopped at the sound at my mom calling me.

"Mia!!! Get down here now!" she nearly screams. I leave my room and start to head down the stairs.

"Yes?" I ask. My mother looks at me, anger fills her eyes, she raised her hand and before I had time to react, her hand was crashing to my face. It hurt, it hurt so much. There was a stinging pain in my right cheek. Tears started filling my eyes.

"Why did you do that!" I scream. I did nothing to you! Leave me alone, don't ever talk to me again!" I raced up my stairs to my room. I slammed my door shut as hard as I could and threw myself on my bed. I was balling, I was so frustrated. I took a deep breath looking at my back pack. I opened it, in a hurry to find my pencil sharpener. Once I find it I smash it on the floor and take the blade out.

I press the blade to my wrist, I swipe the blade back and forth. It hurts, and as I make the cuts the blood stats to run down my arm. I stop because of the pain,I go to my counter and grab a big band aid. The blood still continues to run, so I grab my bag and head to school hoping the blood will stop.
