I felt very antsy throughout the drive , and every time I would ask him where we are going he wouldn't budge and would just smile at me as if it is amusing to him , which I am sure it is

After an hour long drive he parked his car at a dock. We both got out and he held my hand , and instant tingles shot through there , and I know he felt it to cause he looked at our joined hands and smiled

"What are we doing here ?"

"Patience is virtue"

I tolled my eyes at him earning me a smirk and we walked to a ginormous boat that I think is a ferry , was waiting for us .

With a smile and nod given to the guy that stood by there waiting for us to arrive , we got on the boat.

It was completely empty and if this was a horror movie I would have been batshit scared . But since it's not and I am on a boat with a very handsome guy on a very interesting date I decided to just enjoy myself and 8 reminded myself to Google the income of a photographer

Eric put his hand on my lower back and lead us to the top deck of the boat where the view was amazing. I could feel the wind in my face as I held on to the railing. A slight shiver resonated in me and I suddenly felt a warm jacket with the most minty smell cover me

"What about you?"

"I am alright don't worry about it, plus you look pretty in it"

"Thanks . So what are we doing here?"

"Well I wanted our first date to be very memorable -"

"Well it is , no one has ever booked out an entire boat for me let alone at 08:30 pm"

"- glad to be your first , and you also told me that you wanted to visit The Statue of Liberty , and your wish is my command"

"But how ...I just..."

The shock I felt was evident in my stuttering , and he just chuckled and smirked at me

"I know some people and I was able to pull a few strings"

I couldn't believe it , I had just told him that I wanted to visit Lady Liberty and he made it happen just like that. And the fact that he did warms my heart that he did this for me

"I just can't believe you did that for me"

"It's okay I wanted to and seeing the way you feel about it is worth it"

He put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him as we neared the monument. Once we got there we dropped off and walked to the actual Statue to begin our journey to go up , I stopped when I remembered that I have death traps on my feet , cause I wasn't actually prepare for this. Eric stopped as well and turned to look at me with concern written on his face

"Is something wrong? "

"Not really but I wasn't really prepared for sight-seeing "

I pointed at the heels on my feet and he smiled at me

"Don't worry there is an elevator plus I'll carry you up if the heels are as deadly as they look"

I laughed with him . He really thought this through and in the span of an hour . Impressive

We got in the elevator and went up and after a while we stopped , and got out

"We aren't done yet missy"

"What do y-"

I was suddenly lifted up and shrieked as he put me over his shoulder

"What are you doing Eric ?"
