Good things to know when visiting graveyards. (Be sure to ask permission from the spirit guardian of the graveyard, leave small tokens as offerings.
1. Don't point at or photograph graves, it's just rude.
2. Apologize when stepping on/over graves.
3. Don't wear new items, especially shoes, it's considered bad luck.
4. Don't whistle, it's said to tempt death and we don't want that.
5. Leave coins on gravestones as a token of respect and peace.
6. Don't yawn, it's disrespectful and leaves you as an open door for possession
7. Smelling roses when they're not present is a sign of a good spirit.
8. Don't ever steal, you'll surely return with more than what you've taken.
