Innocent people
Just minding their own
In New York City,
Where a plane had flown.
Too close to the buildings,
And crashed into some.
The Twin Towers demolished,
And lives taken from loved ones.
On this very day,
Thirteen years ago,
Brave soldiers gave their lives
Saving us, though.
Two destroyed buildings
Cannot take our hope.
America is strong
We'll never surrender, nope.
Our country is free.
It was vengeance we sought.
The beautiful lives lost
Is the reason we fought.
Never surrender,
And never forget
The people who died
Because of a jet.
