Dauntless.

Chapter 18: New Dates and Tattoos

I wake up wrapped in Tobias's arms to the sound of his alarm. He has to get up before I do to go to work. I usually get up with him but I want my sleep. When he reaches over to turn off his alarm I roll over to my side of the bed groaning.

"Trisss. We have a meeting that's what the alarm for." Tobias says kissing my nose. I turn my head and put it in the pillow.

"So you don't have work today?"

"No." he says I turn my head back to him and smile. Even though I have to go to work in a little while and he doesn't he could sit in the shop with me.

"Come on let's get ready for this meeting. He says and helps me out of bed even though I don't need it. We go to the bathroom and shower and get out after about 10 minutes. We get dressed in our usual black clothing and combat boots and walk to the meeting hand in hand.

We make it to the meeting and Christina and Lauren are already here. We converse for a while then max walks in.

"Okay. So I know that initiation just ended not too long ago, but they are having the choosing ceremony earlier than they did this year. So I need you to choose who is training who. Initiation will be starting next week better get the best sleep you can." He says then looks at me.

"As of for you. You won't be able to train, but you can supervise four here and make sure he does nothing wrong. We don't need him pulling anything like he did before your initiate class." I nod. Christina and Lauren take the dauntless borns while we get transfers. We've also decided that I would go to the ceremony. But I won't be getting on the train. Max arranged for a car to take me there. Tobias will be waiting here by the net with Chris and Lauren and I will leave a little before the ceremony ends and come back and watch along with the other dauntless for the new initiates to enter dauntless. The meeting is over and I have to go to work and Tobias is walking me.

"Will you stay with me while I work?" I ask looking up at him.

"You sure I don't want to distract you." I smile and nod.

"Okay I will sit with you. Only if tori say it's okay." He says. I smile because I already know she will let him stay there with me while I work. Tori loves me and I also know she loves Tobias. She's told me about how she administered his aptitude test when he was and initiate and how he jumped on the wrong car of the train and other things. We make it to the tattoo parlor and tori and bud are sitting in chairs drinking wheat I think is coffee.

"Hey Tori. Hey Bud." I say. They smile and wave at me and go back to drinking their coffee and talking.

"See she doesn't care." I say. He just shrugs while I pull him to my work area. After a while I get bored and make Tobias get on the chair and lie on his side and lift his shirt so I can do a tattoo.

"What are you doing?" he says trying to look down. I stop for a second to slap him.

"No peeking until I'm done. If you looking again you have to wait until we get home." I say he sighs in defeat. I guess he doesn't want me to slap again. Then I'm half way done Tori comes in and says I there is someone here waiting to get a tattoo. I nod and tell her to let her in.

"I'll finish you when I'm done with her. But you have to sit beside me so I know you aren't peeking at the tattoo I'm giving you." I say he nods and gets out of the chair and pull his shirt down. He makes me stand up then pulls me in his lap. I don't know if I will be able to give the chick her tattoo with me in his lap but we will have to try since I'm not going to fight with him about getting another chair.

3 weird fonts and meanings later I'm done with everyone else so I finish Tobias's. I get off his lap and make him get back in the chair. So I can finish it off.

--3O minutes later-

I finish the first part of Tobias's tattoo. It's Jace's name in a weird font and when he's born I will put his birthday and hand print on him. I will get the same but I will have his little feet.

I pat his side telling him I'm done for now. He sits up and put his shirt down and stands up.

"Can we go now? I really want to see what you did." He says. I giggle and nod my head. He takes my hand and leads me out the tattoo parlor to my apartment. When we get there he runs to my bedroom and looks in my mirror. I flop on my bed looking at the ceiling.

"I like." He says

"What?"

"The tattoo Tris I like it. But let's go to sleep don't you have to go to the infirmary for a checkup?" I nod and make him take off my shoes and I change in one of his shirts. Because I'm now showing a little the shirt is shorter but oh well. I climb into bed and fall right to sleep.
