I didn't mean to bring a lightning bolt down on my teacher, though it did feel good. I don't know how it happened, it just did. Hold on, let me go back a little. I'm Evan Voltz. I live in Ignus, where it storms a lot. I am a senior at Ignus High School. I get okay grades. Mostly B's with a couple of A's here and there. Though hitting Mr. Jones with a lightning bolt will probably bump my Math grade down to a D.
Let me tell you how this happened. You see, whenever it storms, I get this surge of energy in me. It gets bigger every time it storms. Only this time, the energy released a little. Not completely, but enough.
When a lightning bolt came down from the sky, I felt as if I could control it. I closed my hand into a fist as if gripping it, and then pointed towards Mr. Jones. The lightning bolt appeared in the classroom and hit Mr. Jones. Everyone screamed. They all ran away from me. I suddenly felt very alone.
That's when I heard the voices. The voices that said, "Evan, don't abuse this power. Use it for good." "What do you mean?!!!" I asked frantically, but the voices were gone.
