"How long have we been walking?"  Asks Rem.
"I don't know.. 3-4 hours maybe?"  Replied Ram.
"My legs hurt.."
"Mine too, but we have to keep moving."

It's nearly dusk, the sun starting to slowly set over the horizon.

Rem and Ram had been walking all day, not knowing how close or far there were from their home.

Rem stumbled behind as Ram continued forward.

She fell to the ground on her knees and had trouble getting back up.

"I.. I can't."  She said panting.
"I need... to rest..."
"Rem we have to keep going! We can't stop now!"
"We have to keep pushing, who knows how close we are to home!"

She fell to the ground and rolled on her back.

"Not.. now.."  She said.

Rem closed her eyes and immediately fell asleep.

Ram crouched beside her and shook her wildly.

"Rem get up! We have to go!"  She yelled.

Rem was already fast asleep, sweat dripping down her forehead from the hot sun.

"Fuck!"  Ram said, angry and tired.

She rubbed her eyes and picked Rem up.

She continued walking with her sister in her arms.

She soon came across what seemed like another cabin, only this one seemed pretty new.

"Finally, shelter, looks like the day is in our favor."  She smirked.

Ram walked up to the cabin and pushed it open with her foot.

"Helloo?"

Nothing.

"I guess this one's abandoned too."

She walked inside and set Rem on the couch closest to her.

She crouched next to Rem and felt her forehead.

"Jesus.. You're burning up."
"I hope you don't have a fever.."  She said worryingly.

She got up and looked around the cabin, hoping to find food or supplies.

She found a few cans of old food, and a few medical supplies.

She sat on the couch with Rem and opened the med supplies.

"Nothing but a few bandages, pills and alcohol strips."
"God dammit this is pointless.. There's nothing in here to eat nor to drink."  She said angrily.

She sat back and rubbed her sisters head.

"I'm sorry for this Rem.."  Ram said sadly.

She started to tear up and looked up at the ceiling.

The tears rolled down her face as she held back the cry.

She sighed and shook her sister to try and wake her up.

"Rem, you need to wake up."

No response from her.

She shook her again and pinched her side.

"W-Wha.."  Rem said as she jolted awake.
"Jesus christ, you had me so worried."  Said Ram.
"S-Sorry..."

Rem yawned and stretched, looking around.

"W-Where are we..?"  She asked.
"In another cabin, a nicer one though."
"At least that's good.."

Rem stood up from the couch and stretched again, moving around to check out the cabin.
