Chapter 28 Resolution

When we finished obliterating the titans, we met back in front of the school, near the sign in the front lawn. The barrier began disintegrating in a slight shower of what looked like fairy dust or glitter.

"So you are a fairy!" Daniel exclaimed.

"No." Violet sighed, "That's how magic releases itself when the spell wears off."

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Hey!"

Someone was running at us and broke Violet's answer, she made a threatening gesture at me.

"Keaph!" Violet called, "Over here!"

"Y'all finished without me!" Keaph cried, "I brought my knife and everything!"

"Had no choice!" Violet explained, "Couldn't risk the barrier being too wide."

"Which one of you yelled in my ear?" Keaph asked menacingly, his whole demeanor changed.

We scattered across the lawn in a panic, he literally had a knife with him and there was no telling what he would do to us at all.

"Which one of them did it Violet?" Keaph asked, "I know it had to be a guy."

"He's over there." Violet pointed in our general direction.

Whose side is she on? Keaph grabbed a rope and lassoed us one by one and tied us in a literal wheel of people. I was sandwiched in between Christopher and Eren. Keaph lifted the entire pod of eleven guys and swung us around in a pinwheel.

"If you don't tell me who did it," Keaph commanded, "I'll have to show you all my wrath, and trust me, it's going to hurt."

We were silent with fear. To be honest, I forgot who actually yelled in his ear in the first place.

"I did it!" Chase cried.

"You did?" Keaph asserted, "In that case."

Keaph cut Chase away from the rest of us and held Chase in one fist while Keaph tossed the rest of us over his shoulder.

Thud!

"Ow."

Violet undid the bindings that restrained us while Keaph began slamming Chase around like a rag doll. That continued for about ten minutes, until Violet spoke up. I didn't believe my eyes, Keaph broke the front sign at least three times with Chase.

"Alright Keaph." Violet interjected, "That's enough."

"Okay." Keaph responded.

We just about to walk away from the school when Violet noticed something the rest of us had missed.

"Where's Mason?" Violet inquired in a panic, "He was right here a few minutes ago."

"I don't know."

Mason was missing, everyone was looking around in the near by areas frantically moving about but not getting out of each others' line of sight. Just then, a loud explosion went off at the side of the school. We spun around where we were and looked at what had appeared. Standing there was the Colossal Titan from Attack on Titan, there were also about 500 titans with him.

"This way!" Violet shouted, "Over here you blunder of nature!"

We headed across the road into a section of forest, we felt and heard the thunder of footsteps behind us. Colossal and his lackeys were following us, if they did, we would be trapped.

"Right here ya idiots!" Violet yelled.

"What are you doing?" Levi questioned, "You're gonna get us killed."

"We've got to get them to come this way so I can detain them with another indestructible barrier." Violet explained, "Then we fight for our lives. I believe in our survival skills, all I ask is for you to trust me."

"I trust you, Violet." I said.

"Me too." Christopher replied.

"Us too." Everyone cried.

Having heard that, Violet threw her hands up in the air and waited. When the titans were in a five mile radius, a small spark that looked like a firework shot from Violet's wrists. The magic projectile exploded about 100 kilometers over our heads and spread five miles around, encompassing us and the titans. We were trapped in here with them. We found a small clearing to pause in. That's where we planned our final fight for survival.
