it was almost 8 in the morning and hyunjin was knocking on jina's door.

"jina wake up! you're gonna be late for school!" he yelled.

she slowly stood up and walked towards the door, opening it. she had her eyes half open and her hair was messy.

"it's monday?" she asked. hyunjin chuckled and fixed her hair.

"what are you laughing at, your hair doesn't look any better." jina said and walked past him, towards the bathroom.

jina got ready and went downstairs, seeing her brother already eating breakfast.

"hurry up, there're 10 minutes left." he said and stood up.

jina quickly ate her cereal and put on her shoes while still chewing.

"i'm going first if you don't hurry up." hyunjin said and opened the door, jina shook her head and ran outside.

they were silently walking to school. jina was kicking rocks while humming instagram by dean. hyunjin was just walking with his hands in his pockets.

they arrived at school and saw eric standing in front of their gate, with their school uniform on?

jina waved and ran towards him.

"what are you doing here? and why are you wearing our school uniform?" she asked.

"i'm a new student, joining class 2-1." he said and smiled.

"omg really? sucks though cause we're not in the same class." jina pouted, "ah it's okay, what class are you in?" he asked her.

"class 2-3."

hyunjin walked towards them and also greeted eric. the three of them walked inside and jina asked.

"did you already go to the principal's office to tell them that you're here?" eric nodded.

they went to their own classrooms but eric stopped jina and scratched the back of his head.

"uh where's class 2-1's classroom?" jina chuckled,

"you don't know?" he shook his head.

"jina and.. the new student? why are you two still in the hallways? class is about to start." the principal said and looked at them.

"oh sorry, i didn't know where my classroom was so i asked her."

"ah right, sorry i didn't tell you earlier. seems like you two know each other?" she raised a brow, the two of them nodded.

"wouldn't it be easier if you joined class 2-3 instead?" the principal asked and glanced at eric.

"jina could show you around and stuff." she added while smiling.

eric looked at the principal and a smile crept on his face. "really? that'd be great!" he said and looked at jina.

"alright, jina when you get to class tell your teacher that we were talking for a bit. he would understand. i'm going to change some things for you eric so i'll get going now." the principal smiled and walked off.

"thank you mrs. choi!" jina said and bowed before leaving.

she walked towards her classroom with eric following from behind. he was smiling like a child.

jina opened the door to her classroom and told the teacher that she was talking to the principal.

"ah also, there's a new student joining our class today." jina said with a wide smile. hyunjin tilted his head and raised a brow and so did the teacher.

"class 2-1 is having a new classmate jina, what are you talking about?" the teacher walked towards her.

she stepped to the side and eric greeted the teacher.

"the principal told me to join this class instead." eric told, the teacher just shrugged and let them in.

"alright class, so we have a transfer student joining us today. please introduce yourself." the teacher said and stepped aside, while jina walked to her seat and plopped down.

"hi! i'm eric, nice to meet you." he looked around and smiled, but no one was looking at the front. only one girl.

the teacher fake coughed and told him to sit next to hyunjin since he didn't have a seat mate.

"uh no one was paying attention, lol." eric awkwardly whispered.

"yeah, that's our class for you." hyunjin replied and slumped back in his seat.

jina was leaning her head on her arm when the teacher started his class. her eyes were about to close when someone tapped on her shoulder.

"hey jina don't sleep, the teacher will give you detention." it was her seat mate heo hyunjoon, since he's popular people call him hwall.

her eyes fluttered open and she thanked him. the class continued and when the bell rang hyunjoon tapped on jina's shoulder once again.

"hey, are you free this weekend?" he asked her. she chuckled.

"that was random, but yeah i'm free why?" she raised a brow.

"uh do you maybe wanna hangout?"

"uh sure why not, i don't want your crazy fangirls to chase me after this though." she chuckled and walked towards eric.

"what were you guys talking about just now? i heard him asking you on a date?" eric wriggled his eyebrows.

hyunjin shot his head up. "what?"

"oh shut up, he's super popular why would he want to go on a date with me." jina rolled her eyes.
