Téa gasped. "Hang on Kira!".
Kira stared at her ex-boyrfriend with large and shocked eyes.
"Yugi, she's frozen!" Joey exclaimed. "You've gotta help her."
Ghost Kaiba let out a menacing chuckle. "Haha, this is almost too easy!" He smirked at Kira. "Make your move, Kira Kira."
Téa looked to their friend. "Yugi help her!"
"Hang on!" Tristan called to their terrified friend.
"Kira, listen to me," Yami shouted to her and she turned to face him. "Believe in the cards! You have the heart, trust in the card!"
She nodded slowly and then looked down at her cards.
"This is the best I can do," she whispered. "I play Cyberse White Hat in defense mode!" Her monster appeared on the field.
"Oh no, she's not strong enough to withstand the attack." Joey frowned.
Ghost Kaiba snickered. "It's time, Blue-Eyes White Dragon attack!"
Kira closed her eyes and waited for her life points to drop.
'KIRA!' A voice echoed in Kira and Yami's mind.
"Huh?" Yami muttered in confusion as Kira's eyes shot open.
Kaiba's Blue Eyes just stood there, struggling to attack as its image flinched.
"What're you waiting for? Attack!" Kaiba ordered.
"What's happening?" Kira asked as the Blue Eyes tried to move, but it was frozen in place.
Yami smiled. "I don't believe it!"
"What's going on?! My Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" Everyone watched in shock as the monster started melting into a puddle on the ground. "Why...?"
"Why, because!" Yami told him. "Kaiba's still alive! He stopped you!"
Evil Kaiba seemed to let out a deep growl. "Silence! I am Kaiba!"
Yami narrowed his eyes. "Enough! Your charade is over!"
Mokuba grinned. "My brother is alive!"
Kira smiled too, slowly standing up straight again.
Téa looked around at the others. "What's going on?"
"It's like Yugi said. Last time Yugi dueled Seto, he showed Seto the Heart of the Cards! This faker may have taken his deck, but the real Seto Kaiba's alive and well!" Kira said confidently, a tear of relief slowly falling down her cheek.
"Impostor! The real Seto Kaiba destroyed that monster. I know because I sensed him calling out to me when it happened!" Yami shouted. "Now enough of your lies! We know you're not Kaiba! It's time for you to show us who you really are!"
"I told you I am Kaiba! Haha! Or at least I'm part of him, the darkest part!" Evil Kaiba turned into a deranged monstrous figure with dark light swarmed around him. Kira gasped. "I can see you don't recognize me, Yugi. Now I'm back, thanks to Pegasus!"
Mokuba angrily shouted at him. "You're not a part of my brother anymore!"
Téa took a step back. "Eww, it's hideous!"
"I always thought that this duel just might turn ugly," Joey said bluntly. "But I never thought that ugly!"
Mokuba joined in on the insults. "Hey ugly! If I were you, I'd start worrying about what my big brother's gonna do to you when he finally catches up to you!"
"I guess I just don't know what to call you. I was thinking about monster but I didn't want to insult the cards!" Yami said to Evil Kaiba. Kira laughed and smiled at her friend.
She glared back at Kaiba. "It's your move; you've got a whole deck to go through and only one Blue-Eyes White Dragon left."
The ghost looked at his cards before making a move. "Grappler in defense mode!"
'He's just biding his time until he draws his last Blue-Eyes,' Yami thought to Kira.
She gave a nod but didn't reply. "I'll set one card on the field and switch Cyberse White Hat to attack mode. Attack now!" Her monster took out Grappler.
KAIBA 900 - KIRA 300
Evil Kaiba glared and shouted at her. "Enough!" She flinched. "It's time to end this. I've spent too much time messing with you. It is time for me to finally crush you for the weak pathetic girl you are!"
"Shut up," she told him.
"I know who you are," Kaiba replied. "You are just a scared girl who is afraid to face the reality of what life really is. A true disappointment."
"I'm afraid of disappointment?" Kira repeated in anger.
"I see you for what you are and for what Kaiba was afraid to tell you!" the Evil Kaiba hissed. "Your mother drove herself crazy and didn't feel a thing for you! If she really loved you then she wouldn't left you alone in the world to be beaten up by your crazy and violent father." Kira closed her eyes. "The only reason Kaiba took you in was he felt sorry for the pathetic misfit you are!"
"Kaiba!" Yami shouted in her defense.
"That's not true Kira!" Mokuba told her. "My brother loved you and I know he still does."
"This isn't about YOU!" Kira shouted in an outburst, looking directly at the imposter. "This is about me!" She pointed at herself. "You don't get it Seto! You never did! It's always about you!" She frowned. "You barely ever thought about me. All you thought about was winning this stupid game!" She looked down at her cards. "You didn't even bother asking me if I liked to duel. Or what cards I had." She looked back up. "That's about to change. Because I'm about to beat you at your own game."
"Don't be so sure." Ghost Kaiba drew a card and grinned. "Brace yourself! For the Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" The dragon came up on the battlefield.
Yami's eyes widened. "Kira!"
"Don't worry, Yugi!" Mokuba comforted him. "My brother will help out just like last time!"
Kemo laughed. "Dream on!" Mokuba's head snapped at him. "Your luck's about to run out. Just see for yourself. Unlike the last Blue-Eyes, this one is at full power and your brother's in no position to do a thing about it! 'Cause we found where his hiding place is, and now he's on the run."
Tristan asked, "So that means, Kaiba is alive?"
Kemo grumbled. "Dimwit. It means don't expect another miracle because this duel's about to end!"
Mokuba looked over at Kira in fear. "Oh no!"
"White Lightning attack!" Kaiba order his dragon.
The attack hit Kira's facedown card.
"Thanks for your sacrifice, Power Angel Valkyria," Kira said. "I play another card in attack mode. Go Wattcobra!"
"No!" Evil Kaiba gasped. "How can you have that card?"
"Like I said, you never ask about my cards," Kira said with a smirk.
Yami was grinning and Joey turned to him. "What is a Wattcobra, Yugi?"
