i know i'm currently in the process of writing another story, and i'll have another part for that soon. BUT in the meantime i've created this plot and i love it so here it is:)A restart. That's exactly what her transferring schools was about. Regardless how cliche it all sounded, she needed it. Imogen Fitzgerald walked out through the front doors and towards the front office of the school while holding a stack of papers that she was instructed to give the admin by her parents. The only reason the girl knew where to go was because of the tour she had a week prior. It was clear that first period was going to begin soon, and she was left wandering through a crowded hallway. She walked while keeping her head down and focusing on the ground beneath her. Not only did she not want to draw attention to herself for being new, but also the focus this year was on academics, not friends or people. At least, that was the goal.
Imogen looked up for a split second before bumping directly into a boy who was clearly larger than her. "I'm so sorry," she said followed by a small laugh escaping her lips. She noticed that she knocked his binders and a journal down on the floor, yet somehow managed to keep a hold of the various papers she had. "No worries," the male said while reaching down to grab his stuff. Quickly, Imogen attempted to help. She reached for the journal and noticed a symbol was on it. "Interesting," she said before picking it up then standing to face him. "Yeah, just some cool journal I found at the store," He reached for it quickly then met eyes with Imogen. Somehow she hadn't noticed how cute the male was before. "I'm Isaac," he said with a smile. "It's nice to meet you, Isaac," she returned the smile just as the bell rang. "I better get going," she said as she walked in the direction of the principal's office. "Can I get a name?" Isaac called after her. "Nope," she stated boldly while not looking back. And that was the end of their conversation. She was already mad at herself for attracting attention, as well as trying to flirt with a boy.
Imogen sighed as she reached the office doors. She opened them, entered, and approached the front desk. "Hi, my names Imogen Fitzgerald... I was told to come here first before going to class." she said with a small smile before placing the stack of papers on top of the desk. "Alright, thank you, Ms. Fitzgerald," the receptionist said while grabbing the papers. "An assistant principal will be with you shortly, but in the meantime..." The lady went through her own stack of papers then handed Imogen a paper schedule. "Please try not to lose it until you are familiar with it." the receptionist went back to her work and Imogen sat down in a chair and waited until the AP came out.
"Ms. Fitzgerald?" Imogen heard someone say in front of her. "That's me," she smiled fakely then stood up to greet the AP. "I'm Mrs. Parr, nice to meet you. Please follow me and I'll walk you to your first class." the walk was just as boring as anyone could imagine and Imogen tuned out the majority of what the lady said. "Alright here we are," she said with a smile as she opened the door. "Hello everybody," she said not only interrupting the teacher but also gathering the attention of the several students. "We have a new student with us, everyone say hello to Imogen Fitzgerald." the AP gave a smile like any other school faculty member would. "I'm sure you will ALL make her feel very welcome." and with that, she was gone. The teacher gave Imogen a paper then directed her towards an available seat towards the back.
Imogen brushed her hair behind her ear then proceeded towards her seat. She glanced throughout the classroom then saw a familiar face. It was Isaac and he was smiling ear to ear. A small smirk appeared on Imogen lips before she took a seat. It was clear that keeping her head down wasn't going to work anymore. Not with that smile aimed in her direction. They made eye contact several times during that class and exchanged many smiles.
The bell eventually rang and Imogen was very quick to get up. She walked towards the door and of course, Isaac was very close behind. "So Imogen huh?" he said acting cocky. "Okay maybe you know my name now, but nothing else." She said confidently. "Oh, believe me, soon enough I'll know everything I need to know because you won't be able to get enough of me." he stated. "wow that's bold." she chuckled. "I'll tell you what, I want you to give me a tour of Beacon Hills tonight," she said before thinking twice. She took out a pen and wrote down on his hand her address. "Pick me up at 6:30 Mr. hotshot, and we will see just how great you are." She gave him a small smile then walked off towards the gymnasium area of the school for her second period. She didn't look back at him, but a part of her wondered how he reacted. The day went by quickly, she had vollyball second period then the rest of the day was core classes and one elective. But through it all, she was curious about what that night held for her.
