The PG edition is more polished and contains some chapter revisions. I suggest you read PG edition first and then read this story. After all, this is a contrast of what can't be shown to kids, therefore making these chapters sweet and worthy ;)

Also, looking back at Chapter Mysterious Pony, it's extremely cringy. When I first wrote this I was influenced by anime, but with each passing Chapter the style changes slightly.
