Left turn. Right turn. Nothing. No matter which direction she went, she was met with the same empty hallway. (Reader) sighed in frustration. As she round another a corner, the faint sound of footsteps was audible.
(Reader) quickly pressed her back against the wall, and peered slightly around the corner. There, walking down the hall casually, was Izaya.
"Shit!" She whispered under her breath.
The footsteps stopped. Her breath hitched in her throat. She had fucked up.
"(Reader)-chan? Is that you?" His voice was laced with artificial concern. "Are you lost? Let me help you~"
Before she had time to think of a way out of this, his footsteps quickened. (Reader) took off in a mad dash the other direction. She could hear Izaya behind her, gaining ground rather quickly.
She rounded corner after corner, trying to evade him somehow. However, Izaya was clever, and he aimed one of his knives at her shoe, successfully pinning her foot to the ground mid-run, causing her to stumble and fall.
Izaya approached her, laughing hysterically. (Reader) backed herself up against the wall, discarding her shoe as she looked up at her captor in fear.
The informant shook his head. "Now now, (Reader)-chan. Don't look at me like that."
He crouched down in front of her and patted her head softly before roughly pulling her to her feet.
"Perhaps.." Izaya trailed off, looking away from her. Those damn eyes of hers. Scared and frightened, of him. It made him feel weak and vulnerable. But also...
It made him feel guilty.
He cleared his throat before continuing. "Perhaps, I've been too hard on you." What am I doing? "Come with me."
Izaya gripped her wrist and led her to a staircase. (Reader) was confused, but remained silent as she followed him upstairs. The top of the stairs led into Izaya's penthouse, which took (Reader) by surprise. She had expected the informant to keep her in some remote location where it would be difficult to track.
Her thoughts roamed possibilities for his choice while he lead her to the second floor of his residence. They stopped in front of door.
"You can stay in this room. Anything in this household is yours." He looked away from her once more, his grip on her wrist tightening. Without hesitation, he opened the door and roughly forced her inside.
(Reader) fell to the floor from the force of his push. The door closed, and a lock could be heard, and she was alone again. The (H/C) woman looked up at the room, returning to her feet. It was simple room. A bed, a nightstand, a desk and chair, and a dresser for clothes with a closet. Also, she noticed there wasn't a bathroom connected to this room. Would he trust her to leave the room to do that?
Why did he move me up here instead of killing me or something?

"Did you see that?" Kimi tapped Shizuo on the shoulder and he turned his head to where her finger was pointing. In a window, he saw Izaya pulling (Reader) up the stairs in his penthouse.
"What is he doing with her?" He asked, unsure of what this meant.
(Reader) didn't seem to be struggling. However, something in gut told him this was wrong.
"This actually works out perfectly. Now we know where she is, or at least a general idea." Kimi observed.
Shizuo nodded. "So now what?"
"Now, we put my plan into motion! Unless you have any better ideas?" The brown haired woman smirked.
Shizuo rolled his eyes. "You already know I don't. Now let's just do this already."
Kimi nodded.
