=lacey=
A few moments went by as Jay and Asher looked at each other, then at me, then at each other, then at Nathan, then at Tyler, then at me again then back at each other.
"excuse me, you can stare lovingly into each others eyes later i want an answer." I demand.
"Lace, there where some... complications" sighs Tyler.
"what is comications?" I struggle to say the word.
"complications" repeats tyler.
"whatever what does it mean" i sigh.
"it means she's not out the hospital and is too sick to be transferred" answers Nathan.
I start to get teary, I don't know why I just do.
"why are you crying lace?" asks Tyler.
"I-i don't know... i'm just upset okay" i sob.
Asher places his long arm around my shoulder and pulls me into his chest.
"it'll be okay lace, don't cry" he says softly as he hugs me tighter.
I must of drifted off to sleep because I wake up in my bed, the curtains where closed and it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, although that wouldn't happen cause i'm not aloud to play with sharp stuff, understandably.
I sat up in my bed and crawled down it to take a peak out the window, the sky was pitch black and all i could see where the bright stars in the sky.
I decided I was no longer tired, probably from all the sleeping in the car, so I got out of bed and opened my door slowly and tip toed down the wooden stairs, trying my hardest not to make a sound so my brothers wouldn't wake up and get angry at me.
I made it to the bottom step and heard footsteps in the kitchen, it must be Jay or Tyler getting a midnight snack, I went to investigate.
I slightly pushed open the swing door to the kitchen to see a tall black figure standing by the back door. I couldn't tell who it was so i slid into the kitchen and hid behind the island.
The tall black figure turned around and i couldn't recognise him as either of my brothers, that's when I realised he had a gun in his hand, and it wasn't made of lego, I gasped at the sight and quickly covered my mouth afterwards.
I heard large footsteps coming towards me and suddenly the large man with a gun was stood in front towering over me, I gulped and started walking backwards until I bumped into the back cabinets.
The tall man lifted his phone to his ear and began making some strange noises into the phone, it's like he was speaking words but not the words I know, different words that i didn't understand.
I was petrified, as any 5year old would be in this situation, I wanted to scream and shout for Nathan to come save me but I was too scared to make a sound.
The man never took his creepy dark eyes off me while talking on the phone, eventually he hung up and placed it in his pocket, he continued to stare at me for a few seconds until he began walking slowly closer to me.
He bent down in front of me so our eyes where level.
"Your brother is Tyler yes?" he said, these words i understood but his voice sounded funny when he was speaking. I nodded my head slowly, still terrified.
"your brother love you yes no?" he said again with a weird voice, I nodded once more and he nodded after me and stood up.
"you come with me now" he holds out his tanned, hairy hand for what i assume is for me to take but I push my self back even more.
"take my hand little girl" he leaned in closer to me, I shook my head. He leaned in even closer and sternly whispered "take it."
"no!" I screamed in the hopes of someone hearing me, my frightened tears where streaming down my pale face.
The tall man then grabbed my small wrist tightly and I whimpered.
"Owww! Nathan help me!!" I screamed through my tears, I heard loud banging coming downstairs as the man hastily scooped me up and ran out the backdoor with me over his shoulder.
=Nathan's pov=
I'm suddenly woken up by the screaming of a small child, realising that the small child was Lacey, I jolted up, swung the door open and sprinted down the narrow corridor, knocking on the boys rooms as I ran past, I practically jumped down the whole flight of stairs and find the back door wide open and lacey's cries had moved outside.
I run out the backdoor and see a tall man in all black running down the quiet street with a small girl swung over his shoulder, although the street wasn't so quiet anymore as Lacey was crying for help so loud the neighbours came out to investigate.
I immediately ran after the tall figure in attempt to save my baby sister, i could hear the footsteps and yells of my brothers behind me.
As if on que Asher comes flying past me at full speed. I didn't stop running but Ash had tackled the man from behind, tumbling to the ground along with my sister. I heard a small, high pitched yelp which I assume came from lacey as they hit the hard concrete.
Lacey stood up and ran into my arms, tears still pouring out her eyes. I squeezed her tightly and as the other boys caught up I quickly guided her towards Jay and Tyler.
Jay lifted her up and hugged her close, making sure she was facing away from the damage we where about to do to this man.
