I was currently waiting outside my house for Charlie to show up. When she did, Memo talked to her. After that was when I learned what happened. Apparently she and Memo snuck off to rescue Bumblebee, who regained his memory and now Bee and Jazz had left. So now, neither me or Charlie had a car.

Well, until Charlie fixed up that Corvette. So now she had a car. She was happy, though I knew in her mind, she would never forget the one who brought her out of her depression. She was happy. I tried to be happy. But ever since I made Jazz leave I haven't been the same. Now I was the one who rarely smiled. I was the extremely depressed one. It was all I could do to hope that maybe one day... maybe I would meet Jazz again.

~~20 years later~~

I smile at the several males talking on the plane I was on. They were my teammates. We were currently being flown to a base in Qatar where we would eventually be flown home from there. I was so excited to go home and see Charlie and Memo, as well as my parents and Otis, the annoying little brat. I haven't seen them for a few years.

We soon landed, and I immediately went to the female barracks to take a shower. I was covered in dirt and sweat, and I was just on a plane with several sweaty army men. I smelled awful. However, it was something you got used to.

After a nice shower, and a new change of clothes, I felt more awake than I did before. I smiled as I went back to the recreation area and came across Caption Lennox on a computer talking to his wife and young daughter.

I chuckled at his words. He was adorable when it came to his family.

"Lennox, stop being adorable", I called out.

"Shut up, Watson!" he called back. I heard his wife laugh at those words, and it made me smile.

"Hey, Watson, how you doing?" Epps was walking next to me now.

"I'm doing pretty good, Epps. How 'bout you?"

"Eh, I'm doing pretty good, shorty", he says as he rests and arm on my shoulder. In an instant, he was on his back, and I was hissing in his ear.

"Don't call me shorty", I hiss. Epps was surprised but quickly surrendered.

"Alright, Watson", he says. I release him from the position he was in and he instantly let's out a sigh of relief.

"You've got a pretty strong grip there sh- Watson. Mind me asking why I can't call you that?"

"No one is allowed to call me that", I mutter, pain flashing through my eyes as my thoughts go back to... no. I thought I was over this. I shove the memories back and harden my eyes, showing no emotion.

I know Epps was concerned but I didn't know how much.

"Emily", he says softly. "You're crying."

I wipe away at my face and notice that my face was indeed wet with tears. I chuckle softly.

"I thought I got over him a long time ago", I whisper. "Evidently not."

"Who?" Epps asks. "If you don't mind me asking."

"I called him Jazz. He was the first I ever loved. The first and so far the only. He was my best friend. I... I sent him away to p-protect him. There... there were s-some peop-people... they... they wanted to harm him. He... he wanted to stay with me but I, I, I... I refused to let him", I was crying even more as I let my walls down. Epps stared at me softly before pulling me close to him, giving me hug. It surprised me, but I was grateful for the action.

"Shh, it's alright", Epps says. I hear helicopter blades and I turn to look at it. I somehow knew that it wasn't a normal helicopter.

I ran off to the female barracks and immediately grabbed my army uniform.

I ran back out to see that there was no longer a helicopter there, but a giant robot, one bigger than Jazz. I ran up to it.

"Hey, big guy!" I shout.

The giant robot stops shooting and looks down at me.

"What is your faction? Decepticon or Autobot?"

The robot kneels down next to me. "Who wants to know?"

"Me. I ran into some of your kind about 20 years ago, and they informed me of the factions, and the war", I say quietly.

"Then you must have run into some Autobots, for no Decepticon tells inferior life forms of our war", the robot says.

"Scrap. You're a Decepticon, aren't you?"

"You have good intelligence", the Decepticon snarls.

I immediately run away from the Decepticon, many of my teammates staring at me.

"Run, you morons", I cry out, gaining their attention. They immediately follow suit.

We soon manage to get to a point where we can rest. However, I knew that Decepticons don't give up that easily.

I was wary of our surroundings, keeping an eye out for the slightest movement.

"Watson, how did you know so much about it?" Lennox demands. I glance at him before going back to keeping a lookout.

"Had a run in with some of their kind a few years ago. Some are very nice while others... not so much. That was one of the not so nice ones", I say.

Lennox was silent. "So this is part of your past that you keep skipping over?"

I frown, not answering.

"We should get a move on. That robot will have sent something after us, most likely because their kind is not one to give up."

Lennox sighs, knowing he's not going to get any more out of me. I pull out my phone that I always keep on me, hesitating over a specific number that I'd had since I was 18. Should I call him...? Should I call Jazz...?

I decide against it.  He has other things he needs to focus on.

"Wait, Watson, is that a phone?" Lennox asks.

"Yeah, why?"

"We could call the Pentagon", he says. I blink, before my eyes widen. I instantly open it up and type in the number I had memorized. It instantly puts me through to an operating service.

"Hello, how may I help you?" Whoever was speaking was very bored.

"Hi, yeah, I need to get through to the Pentagon. My name is Emily Watson. I'm part of an army force that was stationed in Qatar. I need to talk to someone at the Pentagon.

"Alright to do that, I will need a credit card number", the bored voice says.

I don't have a credit card.

"Guys, I need a credit card", I call out. Epps instantly hands me one, and I look at himself strangely.

"I was able to hear what he was saying", he shrugs.

I frown but go back to the call. "Alright, here's the credit card number." After listing off a bunch of numbers, I hand the phone to Epps, as we continue walking. We walk into a village and paused there to get some water. Epps was still talking to someone on the Pentagon when I heard a scream and the gunfire. I turn to see a scorpion like tail pointed at Lennox's back.

I freak out and shoot at the tail. Soon, the entire cybertronian was shown. It looked like a scorpion! I was freaking out but kept shooting it.

However, before long, I was thrown back and hit my head against something hard, most likely a stone wall. I wasn't out for the count, but I could barely move my body.

Soon, I heard the call for a med evac. I felt myself be lifted up and placed on a stretcher. Soon, I was unconscious.
