Chapter 7: The Abandonment

It was vivid and eerie somehow with the lights on, yet it felt somewhat pleasant while laying on a soft cushion. He groaned when he felt intense dizziness in his head and a very nasty ache with his arms. He could feel that there's still a twinging pain in his knuckles. He slowly leaned up to a headboard, hands grasping on his head.

"You're awake" someone commented him. He swiftly turned to look at the owner of that voice.

"Neji" There he saw the Hyuuga prodigy, leaning on a door while crossing his own arms.

"Your injuries were minimal and actually both of your hands are - but the chakra of yours is inadequacy, causing yourself to be debilitated. Although your strength might be weakening, it's no wonder that the Kyuubi's chakra helps yours to develop on its own. " the Hyuuga prodigy stated flatly.

"How long I've been unconscious?" He groaned while stroking his head to ease his headache.

"It's been 4 hours since you fainted and lying on the floor unconsciously. " He answered before continuing. "Lee and I were having a hard time to lift you up and place you on your bed" he apathetically lied and internally humored the whiskey faced boy.

"Wait..are you fucking serious?" he glanced at him and then frowned. "Surely, I am not that heavy" he furrowed his eyebrow

The Hyuuga prodigy just rolled his eyes and sighed. " Whatever. I am just trying to humor you in some sense. It seems like you're too airheaded to understand apparent things."

Naruto didn't pay attention to him instead he just stared at his trembling hands, remembering those horrible memories back then with blood staining on his hands. If this continues the Kyuubi's desperate and lust for killing then who knows what will happen to the other people he cared.

" they're just using you as a mere tool, Naruto. Your love for them is meaningless and so was of theirs for you."

Suddenly, Naruto gritted his teeth when he remembered those undeniable and detestable words from the blasted fox.

"Is it the Kyuubi, wasn't it? " the Hyuuga frowned suspiciously.

Naruto stiffened when the Hyuuga prodigy mentioned the beast without hesitation. He couldn't help but stare at him suspiciously.

"Why would you think that it was the fox, Neji?" he asked drastically, pretending to ignore his unfavorable question.

The young Hyuuga prodigy did notice the obnoxious blonde's slight fear when he specified the dreadful Kyuubi but instead, he answered his question within acknowledge.

"It is because of your own unstable chakra, Naruto." He answered

The Hyuuga prodigy continued "It is quite palpable that you're having an irregular condition which it is your own chakra -- and because of that, it is possible that you're..."

"I'm what?" He quirked an eyebrow

"Naruto" He exhaled carefully

"What?!"

"There's a high possibility that you might lose control of this massive deadly chakra and which means is that you're being under the influence of the Kyuubi, Naruto"
He explained solemnly

Silence overtook their conversation after Neji explained clearly his dire situation.

Naruto widened his eyes in fear as to his undeniable and inescapable situation he through in. His body started to feel cold so was his hands are trembling with such an unpleasant feeling. The moment when the Hyuuga clarified that there might be a chance or possibility that he will be losing control of this blasted fox if this continues. The thought when he, under the leverage of the fox beast, slaughtering the innocent people, tainting his hands with blood and flesh of the humans, destroying the lives and homes and making him a vile and hideous monster just like what those humans thought of him and his dream - it made him sick and horrified when imagined of that - however, if this happens imminently then it will be massacre and a deadly destruction to this village.
