People all stare at Mia as we leave the bookshop. That's the problem with being behind the camera, nobody knows who you are.
We find a cute little restaurant outside the shopping centre. As we're eating lunch, Sally gets out a photo album.
"Wait, isn't that Gee?" I ask, pointing to a familiar face.
"Yeah!" Says Holly. "She proof read my last article!"
"Do you think you could get hold of her for next week?" Lucy asks.
"Probably, why?"
"I think we need to all have a big get together."
"Well, that's Ellie, definitely. She was my doctor a few months ago when I had lack of sleep from perfecting my book." Mia says before she leaves.
"Okay good." Sally replies.
Lucy looks down at her watch.
"Oh no! I really need to go, guys. I'm really sorry. Rudi's coming over to help me storyboard stuff." She says whilst getting up.
"Wait!" I stop her. "Rudi, as in Rudi that came to the barbecue?"
Sally flips the album to the barbecue page. "Him?"
"Yeah?" I say.
"Yeah." Lucy says.
"He was cool." Niamh laughs.
"Well, he's staying for dinner tonight, do you all want to join us?"
"That would be great!" I say.
"Sounds good, I'm free." Holly says.
Niamh knocks on the bedroom door for the third time.
"Heather, are you ready yet?"
"No, I can't find that nice necklace I bought last week."
"It's in the living room on the coffee table!" She says impatiently.
"Okay!" I straighten my dress and open the door. Niamh is wearing the same dress she wore on the leaflet.
We put on our shoes and I grab my necklace. Niamh fastens it for me as we go out the door.
Lucy and Sally's flat is great! There's a beautiful smell of roast dinner clouding the air when we arrive.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
"Hi!" Lucy says, flinging open the door.
"Hey Lucy." Niamh and I reply, hugging her.
There are papers scattered all over the coffee table in the middle of the room. Sally is in the kitchen, fiddling with the oven. Holly, Mia and another girl are sat on the sofa, and a boy sits on the floor, sketching something in a notepad amongst the paperwork.
"Take a seat." Lucy says, gesturing to the dining room table.
Niamh and I sit down.
"Hey, Heather!" Says the girl next to Holly. I vaguely recognise her... "It's me, Gee."
"OHMYGOSH GEE!" Niamh and I jump up and we all hug. We were all best friends at school.
Someone clears their throat. I realise we haven't yet acknowledged the boy. He looks over at us and laughs.
"Rudi?" Niamh almost whispers.
"No way." I say.
"Uh, yes way!" He says.
