There's a monster in my way
It's been there for daysWaiting, waiting, waiting
I try to remember when it wasn't there Invading my space leaving nothing to spare
Waiting, waiting, waiting
I spend days racking my brain Trying to figure out what it would gain
Waiting, waiting, waiting
I know my fate has long been sealed It's hunger I feel it all too real
It only takes a second
The pain does not leave quick
It lingers and steeps
Leaving me hungry tired and weakThe monster's not gone
In fact it's grown stronger
A contract of sorts has been doneI'm waiting
Formatting this was a nightmare
