Dignity Series 2: Hallie Vienson's Story

As she entered the club, the sound of people enjoying can be heard as they sway in the music. She went inside looking for her friend. It was her birthday yesterday and her friend didn’t come due to personal reasons that’s why they’re meeting up today.

She looked around to look for her but a man caught his attention. A sudden pang in her chest can be felt, she was hurt. She met his eyes.

She disregarded what she saw and continued looking for her friend. “Hallie!” She saw Xaria sitting on the chair where the bartender was located.

“Buti nakita kita. Ang wild ng mga tao rito,” Sabi niya rito habang nakalapit na siya rito.

“So, you’ve seen him?” Xaria asked while she grabbed the drink from the bartender to offer it to her.

“Who? And please, I just came here to talk to you and I have no plans of getting drunk tonight.” She didn’t accept the drink.

“Your loss.” Xaria smiled. “May drugs pa naman iyong inalok ko.” Sabi nito. Hindi na ako nagtaka, lahat naman ng mga drinks na inooffer niya sa akin meron kaya di na ako umiinom.

I drank once and I regretted it. Naging malandi ako sa lalaking mahal ko at iyon, he sent me away. Buti nga at di niya ako nakilala na ngayon, I removed my glasses because of the humiliation I felt that day.

Hindi ko naman masisisi si Xaria kasi ako naman ang uminom. Na peer pressure kasi ako dahil ang iba umiinom na..

*Flashback*

“You looked hot, babe.” I flirted to him.

“Miss, you’re drunk.” He told me. I pushed him to bed and went on top of him.

“I am not.” I kissed him. He pushed me away.

“You’re still young. I can’t stain your future. Kita sa damit mong college ka pa. Please.. Stop. Ihahatid kita sa inyo.” Napahikbi ako sa sinabi niya.

“Am I not desirable? Dahil ba nerd ako?” I cried harder.

“Shh.. I’m sorry. I’m sorry, hindi ka naman pangit. I have a girlfriend miss. Hindi pwede to.” Aakmang hahawakan niya ako ng tinulak ko siya sa kama.

I undressed myself in front of him and showed him my breasts. I am totally better than his girlfriend and I will show him that tonight. Kinuha ko ang mga kamay niya at nilagay ito sa malalaking dibdib ko.

I kissed him but again, he pushed me away. “Stop this fucking nonsense woman! I don’t believe that you’re going to open your legs for me. You would pass as a slut. Now please, stop!” Galit na sabi nito sa kanya. Kinuha niya ang bra ko para isuot itong muli sa katawan ko.

“You’ll stay here until tomorrow. I don’t want you to regret something because of that party drug you took.” At iniwan niya akong humihikbi sa kwartong iyon. I also knew that he asked someone to guard the door until I’m back to my sanity.

Kinabukasan ay para akong nabuhusan ng tubig sa kahihiyang ginawa ko kahapon. I walked out from that room and never again did I drink every cup of alcohol Xaria offered to me.

*End of Flashback*

The thing is, Xaria’s parents own a drug business in Colombia. Mayaman sila dahil sa droga at di makukulong ang kanyang pamilya dahil legal ang kanilang negosyo.
