KAMRYN'S POV:

" Bye sweethearts! We'll see you Tuesday! Remember: no parties, have a great day at school, and we love you." Our mom kissed Calum and I's heads before swiftly picking up her bag and walking out of the front door.

We stood at the doorway like children and waved to the slowly disappearing car. It was Friday morning, and our parents were taking their semiannual, four-day long vacation. I never understood their reasoning in leaving two teenagers alone, in a large house stocked with alcohol, for the entire weekend.

But hey, I'm not complaining. Calum and I took the opportunity to have a party very seriously. We plan weeks in advance to the the color of plastic cups to use. That's pretty damn serious.

" After school, I'll go get yellow cups this time, right?" Calum asked while he searched for God knows what.

" Yep. and I'm going home with Spencer to get ready." I paused to throw my bag over my shoulder. " And I'm only allowed to invite my friends, right big brother?" I put on a fake smile and batted my eyelashes. He laughed at my little girl facade. " Nah, tell everyone to come. The bigger the better."

I gasped dramatically. " You want a bunch of juniors at a senior party? There must be a disconnected wire in your brain somewhere."

" Yeah, this might be the last party of the year, might as well make it count," He grabbed his keys, twirling them around his finger. "Ready to go?" I noticed the slight smirk on my brother's face. Ever since my sixteenth birthday, he's been teasing me about not having my own car yet because he was sixteen when he got his car.

Nodding, I rolled my eyes. " Let's go."

By the last bell, the whole school was buzzing with information of yet another infamous Hood party. I could barely walk two feet down the hallway before I was stopped yet again to answer questions about it.

" Yes, there will be alcohol."

" Yes, you can invite your boyfriend from Berkeley."

" No you cannot use my bedroom for that/"

" Ask Calum."

By the time I finally left the building, I was by my best frien's side. " Hey Spence."

" Hey Kam. Excited for tonight?' A squeal escaped from her lips. She always squealed when she was enthusiastic about something.

" I'm so excited. I haven't seen Niall in almost a month."

" I've heard some juicy rumors about whatever frat house he's in " She shook her head, almost in a disapproving way.

I rolled my eyes. We've only been dating for a little over six months, but he was three years older. And at this age, it seems like a lot, and everyone is skeptical. Spencer is nearly the only person who doesn't see the age difference and thinks we're a cute couple.

" Yeah, I've heard, too. They're stupid." We were at her car now. I leaned against he passenger door as she scrambled around her bag for the keys. Once we got in the car, I continued. " Oh!" By the way, we have Juicy Juice, just for you."
