"You're lucky you walked away with just scratches and abrasions." The emergency room doctor said as she finished cleaning Felony's face. "Do you want me to call someone to come pick you up?"

"No, the nurse already did, thanks." Felony stood up, took a deep breath and walked out of the exam room. She saw a gurney pushed up against the wall a few feet away. The place was quiet enough so she hopped up on it. She thought about laying down, but decided that would be a last resort. She had been staring at the floor for several minutes when she heard a set of automatic doors open. She looked to her left just in time to see the spectacle coming at her. "Dear God..."

"It's just a coincidence, I swear!" Wanda said loudly from about ten feet away as she approached. She had come to the hospital dressed as a nurse. "I was entertaining when you called!"

"Are you kidding me?" Felony said, looking her up and down.

"Oh stop. It could be worse; I could have come as the grim reaper..." she cackled. "What the hell happened?" She asked, examining Felony's face, then backing up to get a better look at her general appearance.

"I had a little mishap in the Fashion District..."

"The Fashion District?! Honey, nobody in their right mind goes there!" Wanda hopped up on the gurney next to Felony. "Are you okay? What can I do?"

"I'm fine, really. I need your car, mine has too many bullet holes in it to drive."

"Bullet holes?! What the—?"

"I don't have time to get into it, can I borrow your car?"

"Of course, but how am I gonna get home?"

"I'll give you money for a cab."

"Uh—okay, but—" just then an elderly man stopped in front of them. "Excuse me, can you tell me—" Wanda interrupted, "Sir, do I look like I work here?" The man looked at Wanda's outfit, then at Felony, then back at Wanda before he awkwardly walked away. Felony cocked her head and stared at her until she finally got the hint and looked down at her clothing, suddenly remembering what she was wearing. "Oh yeah..." She handed her car keys to Felony.

By the time she pulled into the driveway it was after midnight and Felony was exhausted. She left her automatic garage door opener in her car, so she parked Wanda's car in front of the house. Just as she was getting ready to open the car door, she noticed a vehicle parked across the street from her house. She waited a few minutes, contemplating what her next move would be. She didn't want to have a repeat of what had happened in the Fashion District. "Fuck it, I'm too tired..." she mumbled, opening the car door. She heard the vehicle start, then pull away quickly. Felony kept an eye on the street as she unlocked her front door and went in.
