(this chapter has some big shipping oh no)

I looked around my surroundings again. Woody still hasn't calmed down.

Everyone's just too busy with this issue now, huh?

I sigh.

Walking past the giant group, I was going to head my way up the stairs to check something out.

Well,

that was until I felt something burn against my leg.

Frowning, I look down to see Firey Jr., Lil' Ultimate Pyrotechnician. And the only Lil' Ultimate here.

"Ah? Flameboy Two, what are you doing?" I question the small fire.

"I'm boooooooooored...father's busy taking care of Woodyyyyyy..."

"Hm, okay."

I continue walking, but he's clinging onto my leg like some lost child...wait, maybe because he is.

"Can you get off me now?" I grumble.

"I need supervision, though! What will father think?"

"Probably disappointment."

Firey Jr. frowned more than me when hearing that.

I try pulling him off, but he's way above the temperature I can handle.

I shake the leg he was on, but he just won't give up.

Eventually, I gave up and dealt with going to the game room with him attached to me at all costs.

He asked me various questions about others and what I was interested in, but I got bored easily.

Then he ran out of questions to say and it became silence once more.

I rested back, hearing unintelligible noises coming from the 1st floor.

But Firey Jr. didn't want to conversation to end just yet.

"Hey, Coiny...don't you have any questions to ask me?"

"Hm?" I raise an eyebrow.

He looked at me with a poker face, waiting for a real response.

"Okay then..."

I cough a bit to think for a moment.

An idea popped in my head.

"What do you think of the others?"

"Oh! The others? Well, some can be big jerks, like Naily! But some can be nice as well!"

"Oh really? Like who?"

(here comes shipping cliche #47)

"Like Leafy!"

...oh, I forgot that flameboy has a liking for her...same applies the other way around as well.

"Oh? Leafy? Tell me more."

I was totally not gonna use this information for another time.

"Well, she's just so nice and all, I can see why father likes her. I look up to her all the time!"

"...really now?"

"Yes, yes!"

"What do you see her as...?"

"I see her as somewhat of a motherly figure, that's what!"

I chuckle to myself...this is like a bunch of puzzle pieces coming together!

"Oh, that's interesting."

"I KNOW."

Firey Jr. told me more about his feelings on others, until eventually Firey found him still clinging onto my leg.

I felt a little closer with Firey Jr. today...somehow.

(no one:
