Ryan's POV

Dotty came towards me with the sword with a small frown. I don't think she liked hurting anyone, but she thought she had to. I didn't scream in pain or yell out, just to make sure she knew it wasn't that painful. Even though it was. I just thought about the AH office. How it had just been a normal day when we were sucked away from our normal lives and into a videogame. I was soon dead, but instead of feeling a soft bed underneath me, I felt a hard floor.

I opened my eyes and looked around. Desks were all around me, and monitors on the computer screens were still glowing. I stood up and looked over at Gavin's screen, since it was closest. Everything was moving on its own, and Gavin's creeper arm indicated that he was running around. All the guys were also running around, looking for something; probably me. An Enderman skinned person was crouching, and Michael was beside it, standing and looking at it. I figured it was Dotty crying over the fact that I was gone and Michael comforting her.

"Guys?" I asked quietly, walking up to the screen.

Everyone froze, and looked around frantically. Geoff looked up, and jumped.

"Guys! Look up! I see his face." Geoff exclaimed.

Dotty stood up quickly and looked up. "Ryan?"

"I'm...I'm in the office." I said, looking at the empty office again. "Its night. I'm pretty sure everyone went home."

"Wait. Can...can you move over for a second?" Dotty asked, trying to see around me.

I did as she asked, and she squealed in delight. I saw all the guys look at her in confusion.

"This is awesome. I can just imagine this and I'll show up in your office if we find a way out!" She jumped up in excitement.

"There's hope!" Michael said, pumping a fist. Or, as well as you can do that when you're a block. It probably looked real to them, though.

"But...how did Ryan get to the office when he respawned, but Dotty went to her house?" Jack asked.

"I didn't have anywhere but this game to imagine. Until now!" She said.

"So, Ryan may have just found out way out?" Ray asked.

"No way in. No way out." Geoff muttered, mocking Ray.

"But...how do ALL of us die? Wouldn't one of us be left here?" Jack asked.

"Well....the last two can, Ya know....kill each other." Ray suggested.

"Or we could kill ourselves." Dotty shrugged.

Michael looked up at her. "Would that actually work?"

"I don't know. We have to wait until we have more options, though. I don't want to be too hasty and wind up getting split into a million pixels. And Ryan can come back everyday and talk to us. Maybe we can get somebody to make a plan?" Dotty replied.

"Like Gus. Or Burnie." I said, coming back into their line of vision.

All the guys nodded their head in agreement, and I smiled tiredly. "I should probably, Ya know....go home."

"How many days- real days- have we been in here? Check the date, Ryan." Michael said.

I looked at the digital clock to see it was 9:30 pm on the same day we had the storm. "Its only 9 pm...same day we got stuck."

"Before you go, can you call each of our family members if we have any? Call Griffon for Gavin and me, if you don't mind." Geoff said.

"Ahh, the quality of living alone." Ray said.

I laughed and shook my head. "Let me call."

I got on the phone with Griffon first. She was always the most understanding. She picked up the phone on the second ring. "Hello?"

"Hey, Griffon. It's Ryan." I said.

"Ryan! Where have you and the guys been? Burnie won't let me come to your office so I just went home and I got really worri-" She started.

"We're all fine. Gavin and Geoff are just gonna have to spend the night at the office with the rest of the Lads and Gents for a day or two." I lied.

"Why?" She asked, uncertain.

I hesitated, then thought of the vacations we have. "We're getting a head start on the videos for the vacation months. All the editing and recording is gonna be hard work."

She sighed. "Fine. Tell them Millie will be disappointed that they're not here, though."

"I will. Now I've gotta call all the other family/ roommate people, so I gotta go. See Ya later?" I said.

"See Ya." She replied, and we hung up the phone.

I called Jack's wife and mine, then went back to the computer screen to see them sitting there, talking to one another.

"They said alright, but Millie and all the other kids are 'disappointed.' So...yeah." I said.

They all nodded, and Dotty looked at the ground for a second. When she looked back up at me, she seemed to be a mixture of determined and sad.

"Ryan, could you call someone for me?" She asked.

"Sure. Who is it?" I asked, getting my phone out again.

"My brother." She said, then told me the number.

I punched in the number, and a male voice answered on the fifth ring. "Hello?"

"Hello, is this Dorothy's brother?" I asked.

There was a pause on the other end. "Yeah. Did someone find her yet? Is there news?"

The voice was full of concern and worry. I felt a pang of guilt for Dotty and her family.

"We've got some new information that has about a 93% chance of finding your sister. Don't worry, sir." I said.

"Thank you so much! And please, call me Dillon." He said, sounding relieved.

He said goodbye, and I hung up the phone. I went back to the screen to see Dotty staring up at me.

"I told him that we found something out that is likely able to 'find you.' He sounded really relieved and worried about you." I said.

She sighed in relief. "Maybe I can visit him once I get out of here. Introduce him to you guys. He'd probably be suspicious that you guys might be into me or something, but I can talk him out of threatening you."

Michael immediately tensed for a second before relaxing again. I chuckled and shook my head, then looked at the time again. 10:30.

"I should probably get to sleep. Anyone wanna die and see if they can come back to the real owrld? It will be lonely all by myself."

"Ryan wants a butt buddy." Ray teased.

"And Ray just volunteered as tribute." Jack said.

"I'LL KILL HIM!!!" Geoff said, running forward.

I laughed again, and Geoff killed Ray. A few moments later, Ray appeared on the floor next to me. He looked up at me with a grin.

"R & R Connection sleepover." He said with a grin.

I chuckled and shrugged. "Guess so."

Ray stood up and looked at the screen. "Hey! You're all blocky again."

Dotty laughed. "And you're all real again."

"Well, I'm exhausted." I said. "Goodnight, guys and gal."

"Goodnight!" They all said in unison, before running into their own houses.

Ray and I went to our own desks and fell asleep in the office chairs. It would be an interesting day tomorrow.
