As you wake up, you try and sit up. Before you can even get half way up, you feel pain shoot through your shoulder and go right back down. "That was a mistake" you say to yourself as you look around. Nobody is in the room with you.

You let out a sigh and close your eyes again to see if you can fall back asleep. "You've been asleep for a whole day, and you intend to sleep longer?" you hear a deep voice say right next to you. You jump up to see who it is, but quickly grab your shoulder. Its Alucard. "You scared the hell out of me! Where did you even come from?!" you ask as you look to see that the door is still closed and that nothing is out of place. "I just came to check up on you, i'll let Integra know that you are awake." As he said this, he just vanished. 'ok, now I see how he just appeared out of no where' you think to yourself.

Time Skip~

After a full debrief from Integra, you were finally alone in your room again. You were informed that Walter and patched you up, and would come back in a bit to change your bandages. You sat in silence as you thought about everything that had happened the other day. 'I wasn't able to do anything...' you thought to yourself. 'I had a gun and everything, but it did nothing against him.'

You became lost in thought, and didn't notice someone in the doorway. When they cleared their throat you looked over and saw Walter standing there. Once you snapped back into reality, you looked over to him. "W-walter, sorry i didn't notice you standing there."

As you say this, he starts to walk in, holding a first aid kit. "Not a problem, I could tell you were deep in thought." You look down a bit "Yea, but its ok, you have perfect timing." He raised a brow at your comment "Oh, and why is that?" he asked as he started to get everything out that he needed. You didn't really want to tell him any details, so you just kept your answer vague "Lets just say they weren't the best thoughts." you said and gave him a small smile, signaling that you didn't want to really talk about it. As you said this, his eyes softened, and he gave you a small nod.

Once he had everything out, he started to take off the old bandages that were almost completely soaked in blood. "This might sting some, but I have to clean out the wound or it won't heal" He said as he touched your shoulder with a cold damp cloth. It stung like hell! You bit your lip so that you could try to take your mind off of your shoulder, but that didn't do much. After everything was clean, he rewrapped it and let you rest. 'If I have to go through that again, I might just end it now' you thought as you laid back into the pillows.

"With that attitude, we should have left you back with Anderson." You knew it was Alucard as soon as he started talking. He was leaning up against the door, looking over at you. "Didn't your mother ever tell you that reading others thoughts is rude." you said as you opened one eye to look over at him. He let out a small chuckle and closed his eyes again. "I guess she didn't" he said in a bit of a sarcastic tone. He started to walk over to you, and you tensed a bit. He seemed to notice this and chuckled a bit under his breath "I promise I won't bite... hard" He said as he pulled a chair up to the edge of the bed.

He had a bottle in his hand, it almost looked like a wine bottle, but with no label. He set it on the nightstand next to your bed, and poured himself a glass. "Would you like some?" he asked as he held the glass up to you. You looked at it hesitantly, and he let out a small huff. "Its just wine, nothing more."

When he said that, you took the glass from him hand gently. He then poured himself one as well and took a sip. You followed with him, and took a sip from yours. It was surprisingly sweet, you didn't think of him to be a sweet wine type of guy.

After one glass the mood what a bit lighter and you relaxed a bit. He hadn't said anything, just sipped his wine. You put your glass down, and looked at him. "Didn't your mother teach you it was rude to stare?" he asked as he glanced up at you. You blushed a bit at his statement "Well, I was just wondering why you are in here and not in your room." He looked up at you with a small smirk. "Why, do I make you uncomfortable?" he asked with a seductive tone. "N-no, I just figured your room is much more comfortable then that small chair." As you said this he looked shocked for a split second, then went back to his usual look.

"I mean, that is quite true, but seeing as how you getting hurt is my fault, I figured I would stay in here with you. Just for a bit" he said as he poured himself another glass. You were a bit surprised by his answer, but understood where he was coming from. "Well, thank you" you said as you laid back in bed, and covered yourself up to your nose with the covers, trying to hide your slight blush. "I'll let you rest though, you need it so we can start training again soon" he said as he got up. You grunted when he said about training, and he let out a small chuckle as he walked out.
