"Fixing things in life isn't always easy

There is always going to be the same type of problem

Not all of them can be solved or fixed the way you want them to

Most things are very difficult to fix

Fixing them on your own

Makes it not only easier for yourself

Also helps you to learn for next time

The more you try to fix things

The better most things should get

Be careful how you try to fix problems

Not all things will be fixed in the right way

Some may get worse, and others will get better

Watch and learn the way you fix them and it shouldn't happen again"

I stood beside my car in the school's parking lot, waiting for Annabeth to arrive.

Today I had woke up earlier than ever just so I can be here when Annabeth comes. After the little talk with Thalia yesterday I realized that I made a ginormous mistake.

André had a freakin' girlfriend! How didn't I know about this?

Oh, right I didn't want to get to know him.

Turns out on Sunday Thalia, Annabeth, and André went out for lunch that afternoon and I was supposedly invited, but Annabeth and I ended up arguing before she could tell me that I was invited. Thalia got to know him better and while having lunch he got a call, he was smiling while talking to whoever it was like a lovesick puppy and said 'Love you' before ending the call. When Annabeth asked him who it was, would you be surprised when he answered with 'My girlfriend', well, you should. Hell, even Annabeth didn't know about that.

I stood beside my car, shuffling my phone from hand to hand nervously.

I've messed things up big time.

A few minutes passed by but they really felt like hours and Annabeth's car was being parked in the parking lot. She got out and locked it before throwing the key in her backpack and walking away.

I realized I didn't move from my place and quickly snapped out of it and jogged behind her. It wasn't really crowded, people come a little bit later than this because homeroom doesn't start until fifteen more minutes.

"Wise Girl!" I called when I reached her stopping in front of her, startling her.

She looked at me and knitted her eyebrows together before turning her head and walking the other direction without a word. "Look Annabeth I'm sorry," I apologized.

She stopped in her track and folded her arms over her chest giving me a hard stare. "Oh, really?" she said with fake amusement and a raised eyebrow.
