"Falsehood!" Logan screams, his voice breaking slightly, making Virgil and I jump. When Virgil recovers he face-palms and scowls.
"Good job keeping quiet." Virgil elbows him in the stomach.
"Ah-" Logan starts.
"Sshhh!" I frown at Logan.
"Sorry," He mumbles rubbing the spot where Virgil elbowed him. We turn around and I have to fully hold back from screaming upon seeing glowing snakes. Why are the snakes glowing?! Snakes don't glow! I jump back and catch my foot on something falling into Virgil who catches me. He pushes me back onto my feet and I thank him quietly.
And then the snakes start glowing brighter and brighter, until they are almost impossible to look at. They begin to form what I can only describe as a snake hurricane and soon you cant tell the difference between the snakes. Virgil steps in front of me and Logan as there is a sudden flash of light and then a pale man in a bowler hat looks up. He smirks raising an eyebrow and Virgil looks ready to deck him. Tension fills the room as they have a stare off. You could see clearly that these two went way back.
"Awe you finally came to visit, Virgil. I've missed you so much in the last 200 years," Deceit smirks, "Oh and you got new eye shadow that totally doesn't make you look like a raccoon."
I was about to jump in and defend my boyfriend but Virgil answers first.
"Nice gloves. Did you just finish washing up?" His scowl softening but still there.
Deceit examines his bright yellow gloves, "Yes."
He had a very posh, articulate accent that made it clear he wasn't from this century.
"Oh? And who are your friends? A demon and a fallen angel and then you were friends with a human too? That's not like you, Virgil."
"We haven't seen each other in centuries. People change. Now where's Patton?" Virgil scowls.
"Oh lets not rush, darling. We've got so much to catch up on-"
Before he can finish Logan pins him to the wall, taking me, Virgil and Deceit by surprise, "You can talk later. Where is Patton!"
"Patience, darling," Deceit easily over powers Logan and pushes him against the wall instead, "The day is still young."
Logan scowls at the taller man but there is a hint of panic in his eyes. It's barely there, actually, but I know it is. He's panicking about something. The only times I have seen him panic are when we didn't get much work done on the project.
I look at Virgil, who's trying to work out what to do, but he doesn't seem to know.
I attempt to scan Deceit's mind but there's some sort of shield and I can't read anything.
Oh, Jesus Christ.
I move and grab Deceit's shoulders and pull him backwards but he moves no more than a step.
"You don't know much about Vampires do you, Darling?" He smirked at me.
"No!" Virgil cried as Deceit threw me back. I hit a wall and Virgil runs over to me. I can just about see his face, but it's blurry. My wings have gone numb. Something warm is running down my neck as I fight desperately to stay conscious.
Virgil's bright red eyes have softened slightly. He pulls me into his lap and I hug him. He seems unsure of what to do. My vision starts fading more but I notice a tear running down his cheek.
"I'm sorry," He whispers and bites into his finger. I see blood and then the back of my head hurts like hell. I'm not sure if I'm making a noise or not as I can't hear anything. I can see Virgil's lips moving but what he's saying, I don't know.
My vision fades more and I grip Virgil tighter. He holds me and eventually-
I feel nothing.

My eyelids stuck together as if I had been dreaming for a long time. I can hear shouting but I don't know who it is.
Where am I?
The ground is uncomfortable but moving even an inch hurts. After a minute or maybe two, I don't really know, I manage to peel my eyes open. The first thing I see is Logan pacing the room frowning and seemingly on the verge of a mental break down and Virgil banging at the door with his fist and shouting.
"What- what's going on?" I mumble trying to look around. Logan and Virgil's heads snap over to me and then run over to me.
"Deceit threw us in here while you were passed out." Logan sighed. Virgil hugged me.
"Are you hurt?" He asks.
"No. I'm fine. What did you do?" I ask. I remember Virgil biting into his finger and putting some of his blood on the back of my head.
"I gave you enough of my blood to heal you but not turn you," Virgil admits. I nod and attempt to stand up, "Maybe you should stay sat down.
"I'm fine," I insist when I'm finally on my feet but I almost fall over again. My head spins and the floor won't stay still, so I lean against the wall, "Anyway we need to get Patton."
"Roman, you should sit down. You'll pass out again if you stand up to quickly," Logan says.
"I'm fine." I scowl down at him but when I take a step I fall to my knees, "Shit."
Virgil moves to help me but glowing yellow vines, similar to the snakes from earlier on, grow out of the walls and pull the three of us into them. Logan panics and Virgil fights against them but O don't have the energy to fight. I feel completely drained. Like I could fall asleep right here despite the fact that it would be uncomfortable. Even thinking is draining and I struggle to keep my brain going. I struggle to stay conscious. I struggle to stay alert. I have to help my boyfriend and save my my friends.
I have to keep going.
