Chapter 4: Mission

All of us except Gamora were in a room, waiting for her to start the meeting. Meeting about the mission they're taking.

"Sorry if I took a while, just fixed some few things."

"No, it's fine Gamora." I uttered out, then smiled at her. "Okay, let's start."

"We have to get to Xandar, before we get to the first stone. The elements. Then return it back to their own places again. After Crimson has stole them, or his alias as the Death Angel, so we have to be careful of his minions and such." Gamora discusses as she points to a map leading to Xandar, then looks at me. "(Y/n)?"

I look over and responded. "Yes?"

"May I ask you one thing?" She begins, I was flustered at first but I nodded. Then I became nervous at the point it was all awlwardly silent.

She clears her throat and began to ask. "Anything you are capable of? Or something that could be useful for stealing the stones and put it back to their own place?"

I smirked a little, knowing I have a few things learned in combat, since I was kidnapped when I was a child. "Yeah, maybe."

She smiles and turns to me intetestingly. "What can it be?"

"Well she told me she stole once, so maybe she could help me with stealing." Rocket suddenly interrupted in, making Gamora and I look at him. "Well.. I-"

"It's better if she can have skills like us, right Gamora?" Quill joins in, looking then winks at her. Gamora looked at him disgusted. I laughed softly at the bicker.

"Guys it's more better if she's the one who tells us what she is capable of, we don't know what she can do." Drax pointed at me, everyone seems to agree.

"Right," I started to speak. "I know some combat skills I guess... And Rocket's right. I can steal, but that's just a one time thing."

Gamora claps and walks closer to me. "Let's try a little battle, me and you. Then we'll know if you can come with us or you could stay with Groot."

I smirked wider and walked over, "Sure."

We all went to the place where they usually practice combat or some skills they have, Gamora and I went to the middle.

She begins to run towards me, "Let's see."

She tries to give me a punch, I dodged it and went behind her, strangled her from the back and put my arms on her neck. Not that hard though, I'm not gonna kill her.

"Woah she is good." I heard from someone but I don't know who it is. And I didn't bother to look. I just smiled at myself.

After hearing grunts and hisses from Gamora and I, we decided to stop and she qualified me to the mission. She was happy and I was thr same too. Now the only thing we have to do is to go to the mall to get supplies.

"So, since when did you learn combat?" Gamora starts to ask beside me, I'm still finding clothes to wear. "Uhh... I don't know of what age but I know that I'm just a kid that time."
