- Javier's POV -
Woah!
I was pretty lucky to escape that.
"What had my dad asked to you Javier?" Fortùna said.
I gulped. "Nothing important, dear."
She stared at me for a while, only to focus back to the path as Spirit trotted.
Sagitarius kept calm amd quiet all the journey to the town hall.
Today was a long day and I bet she was too tired to mock me.
Even so, I could still feel the pain lingering on my feet. I might still be able to dance---with one feet or not at all.
At this very moment, only the calm trotting sound could sooth me.
Here we are, the Town Hall.
I smiled at Fortùna to cheer her up, right when she looked at me and my feet.
"Are you sure you are okay, Javier? If you don't we ca-"
"Hush, siñorita, I promised we will have fun!" I cut her off.
She smiled. "Well, if you say so."
We got off our horses, and began to walk down the path.
- Maricela's POV -
Julian wouldn't be able to come.
Why did this always happen to me?
If I had to feel this, I wouldn't let myself be the only one.
Others had to, well less or more, felt the same---and the only other couple this night had was. . .
. . .Lucky and Javier.
I wore a beautiful maroon red dress, didn't forget to add a bit of style by putting on a fedora with some red roses stitched to it.
People would be so jealous of my beauty---they wuld be more than fascinated to see me.
A familiar laughter rung a bell in my head.
It was Lucky's.
The time to play our little game had come, it was now or never.
"Oh, Javi, dear!" I called out, reaching for his right hand. "Julian won't pay me a visit, would you like to accompany me?"
He tried to free himself, but it didn't work as he wished it would.
Lucky stood still in her position, puzzled for sure---or was she just trying to look calm?
"Maricela, would you mind letting go off me for a while?" He muttered. "Maybe I can consider accompanying you some other occassions."
"Sorry, Javi, but this siñorita couldn't wait," I appologized, giving him the best pleading puppy eyes I could give.
- Lucky's POV -
Why did Maricela do this?
Did she have a crush on Javier again?
I thought she liked Julian.
Why did she always do this every single time I was happy?
"Siñorita? What happened?"
"Sagi? Ah, sorry, I am just thingking."
"What is it?" She asked again, trying to figure out what was going on.
"It is Javier," I answered in defeat. "You see it don't y-"
