She sat broken hearted on the river side, her feet in the water. Her hair was a mess, dead leaves and crinkled flower petals stuck out in her hair. Her hair was dry, drier than the sahara desert. Her clothes were crinkled, rippled like the seven seas. She wiped off the sweat bead that former near her eyebrow with her hand since she couldn't find her handkerchief. The feeling of a layer of sweat underneath her clothes was something she had tried to forget. It was probably 100 degrees but it felt like she was in an oven being roasted alive. Her legs felt like lead, but she knew that she had to get up and go to school.

She knew how terrified her mum... if she was even alive... would be if she found her like this on the riverside. Her mind was dizzy and confused. Mostly confused. She had no idea where she would go after this. If she went to school, she would be humiliated in front of everyone. If she went home, there would be no one to talk to since nobody has ever been there for her. She knew she was going to be forever alone until she figured out what her heart wanted.

Her heart wavered. Why did she feel so lonely?

She was surrounded by so many people, but not once did they understand you.

She wanted to be with someone that completely understood her, but sadly she didn't have anyone.

There were so many thoughts up in her mind, so many emotions; but no one she knew that she could share them with.

She had constantly checked her phone for a message from someone and hoped someone would ask if she was okay. But then you realise nobody would care since they were all busy with their own lives.

Although she appeared happy outside; making everyone smile, making them feel loved, but really she was screaming for help on the inside.

When she thinks about her happiest memories, and believe me they were supposed to make you smile, they made her breakdown into tears.

She longed to go back to her old happy self.

Although there were people in her life that said they understood her emotions when she had blurted them out, did they really? No! They shrugged it off like a minor issue.
