It has been two days since the storm. The power was out until late last night, because trees had fallen on the line. Today is the day of the ceremony. I am both excited and nervous about the ceremony. I am excited that Elijah's parents would be leaving the pack, but I was nervous because I am becoming the Luna of a pack, not just any pack but the Bloody Den Pack.

Out of all the she-wolves that I know, how am I the one that is going to be a Luna. I am supposed to be a role model for young she-wolves, I am supposed to make a positive influence on the teens, and I am just supposed to do everything that Elijah says. All of the wolves would look up to me. I am also going to have to produce a heir for the pack. The king has made it a rule that it doesn't matter what gender the first born is, they will be the alpha. Everyone in the pack wants the heir to be a male.

The pack would be mad at me if our first born is a female. They wouldn't be mean to her in front of Elijah or myself, but she would be made fun of. When she takes her place as Alpha she would probably be challenged by a random wolf. Which means that she would either be killed shortly after taking her place as Alpha, or she would kill a pack member shortly after taking her place. I am going to have to train her to be able to defend her place as Alpha.

I hope that we have a male first, and then the rest being female. I have never really wanted a boy, I have always wanted girls. Only girls.

"If you keep thinking that hard, you are going to get wrinkles." Dimitri said. Pulling me out of my thoughts.

"No." I said.

"What were you thinking about, Alice?" Dimitri asked.

"That if I had a little girl as Elijah's heir that everyone will make fun of her, and that she will get challenged as soon as she is the Alpha." I said.

"That isn't something you need to worry about right now. You just need to get ready for the ceremony to become Luna. You will take on the role of Luna. Don't worry about your future pups right now. Get through the ceremony. Get ready to mark Elijah, and talk to him about the future. I would suggest marking him soon, because his wolf is going crazy, but don't rush into it if you aren't ready. Sebastian and Elijah will never push you into being mated and marked." Dimitri said.

"What do you mean Sebastian is going crazy?" I asked.

"He is just stressed. He is worried that you will reject him." I went to cut Dimitri off but he continued, "Don't feel bad for the threat. When he gets mad he goes off. When it comes to you, he will always be worried. He is someone that needs a lot of reassurance. We all know that someone will always be better than you at something. He sucks at talking about his feelings, but he knows how to comfort people." Dimitri said.

"I wouldn't reject him. I was just angry." I said.

"He knows that. He just wants to bear your mark on his shoulder that tells everyone that he is off the market. I don't know what to tell you about marks though. I haven't found my mate. I am excited to find them though. I am sure that I will be wrapped around their finger as soon as I meet them. I would quit being the Beta if they wanted me to. I just want to find my mate so that I can have someone that is mine." Dimitri said.

"What would you do if your mate was a rogue?" I asked.

"Well then I will help them. I don't care who or what my mate is. I want them and only them. I haven't dated anyone. I am saving everything for my mate. I know that I am meant to be with them, and I know that the goddess choose me for my mate and my mate for me." Dimitri said

"It sounds like you are already heads over heels for your mate." I replied.

"I am. I think that I am going to find my mate soon. Actually I hope that I find my mate soon. My wolf came out when I was 14. I have been waiting for my mate for five years." Dimitri said.
