"Hi" I reply,"umm... errr... I have this, um... friend and he, um, told me a, ah, while ago that if I was ever in the city, I could meet him at your café. He said he... comes there a lot on Mondays around 1?"
"And your point is?" The voice is most certainly annoyed now.
"Oh right, my point. Um... do you know anyone like this? I mean that comes in almost every Monday. He might come in other times too. And... would you mind telling him if you see him before Monday that I'm going to be in town?"
"Do you know what age he is, because we get a lot of people like who your describing."
"Um... yeah. He's around 20 and he is about 6' 2"? Oh also, the last time I saw him he was pretty fit. Like with a 6-pack"
"Oh!" The young woman's voice completely changes. "You mean Austin Jackson? The guy who always sits in the corner reading a book and looking at the door? The actor?"
"Yes, I think I do..." my voice trails off and I can practically feel fan-girl waves rolling off of her.
Her voice is getting more vain by the second. "Who do you think you are to be asking about MY boyfriend?"
I snort. Her boyfriend! In what world?!
"Tell your 'boyfriend' that it's Ann. He'll know who I am."
"Fine! I'll tell him!" Again, I can practically fell the jealousy. This girl needs to get a grip on reality asap!
"Thanks. Oh also, tell him he can call me at this number" I say and I hang up, rolling my eyes.

The phone starts ringing again. Ugh I hate morning shift. I pick it up and say hello in my most get-it-over-with voice.
The voice on the other end is low but still obviously feminine. She starts rambling on about some old friend and this café and I am only half paying attention so I ask her to get to the point.
She immediately tells me about how she was wondering if I know of anyone who "comes in almost every Monday" around 1.
I immediately know who she's talking about but I tell her "Do you know what age he is, because we get a lot of people like who your describing."
"Um... yeah. He's around 20 and he is about 6' 2"? Oh also, the last time I saw him he was pretty fit. Like with a 6-pack" she replies.
She means Austin Jackson. The actor. Humph, not a bad description of him. Let's see what info I can get out of this bitch.
"Who do you think you are to be asking about MY boyfriend?" Ok so it's not a complete lie because he WILL be my boyfriend. Soon.
The girl on the other end snorts. How dare she! He's mine!
The girl on the other end says to tell him it's Ann and thanks. I'm so pissed at her that I almost decide I won't tell him but Boss would get suspicious. He would say 'that was one long telephone call to order a sandwich' or something like that.
People start to fill up the café on their way to school or work and it becomes pretty crowded. I almost don't notice Austin which is a shocker as the is always surrounded by his sluts. But I do notice him and I walk over to him.
He looks up at me and raises an eyebrow but says nothing so I take my chance and start to speak...
"Hey, Austin!" I smile flirtatiously, " I love your shirt! The color looks SO good on you! And your hair, Oh My God, perfect!"
