Beyoncé's POV
My babies. They just graduated.
"Bey, here." Solange said passing me a tissue.
"Thank you." I said as I dabbed my eyes.
We finally left the gym to meet the kids outside. They had to go and get their actual diploma's. We were standing near the parking lot. It's a lot of us and I know Shawn shut down a restaurant for us to go to.
"Where are they?" Ciera asked.
"I don't know." I said.
I saw some kids come out but none of them were mine.
"There they go." Jeulz said.
We looked and Chanel and Damien were walking over. They had their robs and caps in there hands as they came over. Blue ran over to them and Damien picked her up. He kissed her cheek and so did Chanel.
They finally came over and I got my hugs first. We rocked back and forth for awhile.
"Mommy, why you crying." Damien said wiping my eyes.
"I just," I said. "I'm so proud of y'all."
"Mommy, it's okay and we know." Chanel said.
I continued to hug them until I was basically pulled apart by Shawn. Other people needed their hugs and pictures.
After everyone took their pictures we headed to get some food.
Graduation Party
Chanel's POV
"You make me happy..."
The music blasted from my grandmothers house in Jersey. I'm really surprised my grandmother agreed to have a party at her house but she does have a huge yard. It was a party for me, Damien and Rachel. Her family was here too because most of them lived in Jersey.
I was getting some food when I felt hands cover my eyes.
"Now if I drop my food." I said as whoever uncovered my eyes.
I turned around.
"Christian!" I said as I sat my plate down.
I immediately hugged him. That's my baby, y'all know how I feel about him.
"Hey baby." He said kissing my cheek.
"Hey, you hungry?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'm about to fix a plate." He said grabbing a plate. "This party is huge."
"I know." I said.
When we walked to a table to eat Damien and Rachel came up to us.
"What up bruh." Damien said.
Christian had a fork in his mouth and dapped up Damien and hugged Rachel. We sat down and started eating and talking.
This was a huge party and a lot of my family and people close to us was here.
"Chanel!" I heard.
I looked over and smiled.
"Teyana!" I yelled as I got up.
I went over to hung her.
"Hey." I said. "Thanks for coming."
"No, problem." She said. "Hey Damien, Rachel."
They hugged and she gave us bags.
"Thank you." We said.
As the night went on people came and congratulated us. It's crazy. I heard the music go off then I heard my dad.
"Rach, Chanel and Damien come over here." My dad said.
We got up and went over to our parents that were standing there.
"Anything y'all wanna say?" My dad said.
Rachel took the mic.
"Uhmmmm." She said then laughed. "Uhm I wanna thank everyone for coming. I wanna thank my mom and dad and my brother because we been through a lot but we made it through. Y'all know I been shot twice but by the grace of god I'm still here. I wanna thank Auntie Bey and Uncle Jay for being there and accepting me and my family and we've blended into one and I thank you for that. Kelly, Kelly man thanks for always pushing me and staying on me when I need it and. You know what? Let me get off this mic before I shed a thug tear or two."
Everyone laughed and Rachel passed the mic and hugged her mom.
Damien took the mic.
"Y'all already know." He started.
"Waterworks!" Devon yelled out.
Damien shrugged.
"I thank everyone for coming out to support us three. We been together for a long time and we been through so much. Ma, dad, thank you for everything." He said. "The only mother I really knew was my grandmother, may she rest in peace, and then I was given more grandma's. My mom knows how much I love and appreciate her and my dad knows too. I love y'all and my whole family and I just want to thank y'all for supporting me and I hope this support travels all the way to Michigan. Go Blue!"
Everyone cheered after he said that and then it was my turn.
I looked at my parents before I spoke.
"Yep, I'm gonna cry by the end of this but that is alright." I said and they laughed. "I thank y'all for coming out and I thank my whole family for being there and pushing me and putting me in my place when I needed to be put there. Y'all made me who I am today. Ma, dad, I know I have not always made things easy. I speak when I'm really not supposed to and I have a attitude I'm working on but y'all love me anyway. Y'all made me a better person. Y'all always there for me no matter where y'all are and I really appreciate that."
