Alibaba's POV
I sat in the corner of the room still while listening to the students walking down the hall. The door opened and Ashton walked in.
"Prince Ali~! How it be~!?" He shouted coming over and giving me a bro hug.
"Good how 'bout you?" I asked. He shook his head.
"I'm positive I'll be failing this class. Unless you help me study that is?" He requested. I shook my head.
"I'll consider it after the review quiz. Let's see just how bad you claim to be." I gave him a smile.
"You're the best man." He sat in the seat next to the one beside me.
"What's he the best for?" "I want help from Alibaba!" "Can I sit next to you?" "Can I join the study group!" I smiled awkwardly as the kids in class all surrounded me complaining about wanting to be near me, but they didn't dare sit in the seat next to me.
"Calm down guys." I requested softly. The class shut up almost immediately. "You're being rude to the instructor." They looked back at the shy looking women and the boys blushed at the sight of her.
"Y-yes. Please quiet down and find your s-seats, so I can start role call." She stuttered. They all listened leaving the seat beside me empty and seating themselves around me. Aladdin and Morgiana turned around from in front of me.
"You're in tight with the rich kids." Morgiana stated. I rolled my eyes at the obvious jealousy in her voice.
"You know I don't find them nearly as interesting as you two right?" Her eyes gleamed.
"Really!?" She shouted. I put my finger to my lips and she apologized in a whisper.
"Yes, really." I whispered back.
"Students please connect to the class server and mark yourselves as present on your identification item." Everyone pulled out a device. Some used phones, others had smart watches and tablets, but only the richest of the rich used holographic items. "Okay guys. I would just like to review the point system one more time before a very special visit from the Dean."
She started walking around the room. "In this school we average out all of a single class' grades. So at the end of the month every score you accumulate is averaged out for one number. Each point is worth ten dollars. You each receive the amount multiplied by ten in a special kind of currency. You can save your money all you want and we won't be able to directly withdraw money from you, though your total can be brought down by misbehaving and other factors. You are punished as a class, so I advise you don't screw anyone over. Right now if you look at the amount in your identification item's account, you will see you have ten thousand dollars. Be aware that it can change next month if you don't keep your acts together." She finished explaining on that note.
"Anyway moving on we need to go over clubs." The class groaned and broke into chatter. "I know. I know. It's not the best subject, but everyone must join a club and you can only join a maximum of five clubs, but since you guys haven't completed student council members you can only apply for four until that's settled." I sighed and stared out the window. "Wait. Before we start, would someone like to be class representative?" It was silent.
"We already established that ma'am." Spartos answered while standing. She jumped in surprise.
"Then who might they be?" Spartos pointed to Arthur who raised his hand. "Okay then. Now for clubs....Who wants to join the Disciplinary Committee?" I raised my hand.
"Six people? Please grab your application forms. Oh just a heads up, since every grade has different rules and disciplines for those rules, you have to create the committee on your own." I already took that into consideration, so I set up applications and voteings on the website. I will admit it's a bit difficult, like they're having us create a kingdom or something. Anyway a few more people raised their hands and we all headed up for the papers.
