It's been a long rough week and I had to go on my last mission for the week.
During this mission,its had to be a group of 3. So Jack, Jaz, and I all went to the downtown bank to get the money since their was more this time.
While we were collecting the money from the bank downtown, I noticed a man that I have heard of many times before but never seen him in person.
"Isn't that the Winter Soldier? " Jaz asked as we were leaving the bank
"Yeah but I haven't seen him in person, I've just heard of the name going around. " I responded.
After I said that the guards noticed us and before we even had to to think, I was grabbed by the bigger guard.
I bit him in the arm which then he dropped me,that gave me the opportunity to kicked the ass hat where the sun don't shine, before I could get to the other guy their was already a bullet in his head. I looked up to see that is was the Winter Soldier.
"RUN" He yelled at the 3 of us
All 4 of us ran as fast as we could and made it back to the compound with all of the money we just stole and with only 1 causality.
Once we go back to the compound, the Soldier pulled me aside just to check up on me since I was the one that got grabbed and everything.
"Hey, you okay you seemed shaken back there, I just wanted to check to make sure your okay" He stated
"Oh yeah I'm fine thank you thanks for watching my back" I respond
Sure I was shaken up but I knew how to handle the situation, until that one guard tried to shoot me.
After our little encounter, I made my way to the meeting room with the money that I've collected.
Once I got there, chief Mike had heard about my encounter with WS (Winter Soldier), he did not seem happy
"I see you have came across WS and saved your life, you should've been aware of the guards but you weren't so now you've failed your mission" He yelled
"I'm your best fighter apparently me and Winter are your best fighters" I yelled back "it's not my fault that I almost got shot, there were two guards trying to attack me, I would've taken just one down but their were two"
"You should be glad that Im not dead like your other soldiers" I snapped
By now Mike was pissed steam basically coming out of his ears. "That's it, you've been pissing the shit out of me all week. " Mike snapped "now your getting it".
Great now whenever I fail a mission or even get snappy with the guards or even Mike, shit like this happens. I get brainwashed which rarely happens, twice the amount of serum I usually get and no food NO FOOD which sucks.
*The next week*
WS POV
I was practicing in the training room I knocked off 6 bags with this stupid metal arm, I always hated this metal arm so itchy, when about 3 hours later in the training room, the girl I saved last week walked in and walked over to one of the punching bags.
She seemed good what am I saying, she's great, I wonder what her name is? Hold on she seemed different.
I walked over to her, she noticed me right when I came into eye view. I took a better look at her and her skin seemed lighter than the last time I saw her.
"Hey, are you okay you seem lighter then the last time I ran into you." I asked her while looking at her posture and body frame "what's your name too"
She seemed hesitant to answer the question and nervous, she kept looking at my arm. Soon she answered,
"Rune, but my real name is Kendall" She responded "I haven't eaten in days and this serum is basically taken over my body" She continued
I felt bad for her, she seems so skinny, sure I'm the Winter Soldier, guy that kills first and ask questions never, but I still care about some people.
She needs to take a break
*END OF POV* (3 months later)
Winter and I became best friends during every mission, after he noticed my dangerous weight loss, he would come by my room with food that he didn't finish.
He told me how he lost his arm and about the only memories he had of his best friend Steve.
The name Steve sounded familiar. I went to the computer room late at night to do some research on the name.
Steve Rogers aka Captain America
A World War veteran along side his best friend James (Bucky) Barnes

After and hour of research I finally knew who the guy was and that Winter was Bucky.
