'Good morning Jimin.' – Jein

'Morning.' – Jimin

'That was a bit of a crazy night, I've never been in a situation like that before.' – Jein

'Are you uncomfortable? After you kissed me, you just got up and left.' – Jein

'I don't know.' – Jimin

'We can forget everything that happened last night, if it makes you feel better.' – Jein

'I want to say, 'it's not you, it's me', but it's kind of both.' – Jimin

'What do you mean?' – Jein

'I don't know.' – Jimin

'You can tell me. If it's something I can fix, I will.' – Jein

'I don't know if I'm fixable.' – Jimin

'You? Why do you think you're 'broken'?' – Jein

'I have feelings for you, but' – Jimin

'I don't know, I'm being held back.' – Jimin

'By?' – Jein

'Those very feelings. It still feels wrong to like someone else.' – Jimin

'Oh...' – Jein

'See, I'm damaged.' – Jimin

'You aren't damaged! You're a good man. It's not wrong to want to keep a strong bond.' – Jein

'But?' – Jimin

'Damn you're sharp. BUT, sometimes things can't be helped.' – Jein

'If you want to drop it, we can. I will just tell Tae I can't and that we will all just be friends.' – Jein

'No.' – Jimin

'No?' – Jein

'I can't do this over texts, can you come over tonight?' – Jimin

'Sure, 7pm?' – Jein

'Yeah.' – Jimin

'See you tonight.' – Jein

Jein was nervous about the talk that would come tonight, she wasn't sure exactly what he would say or where the talk would lead. She really wanted to avoid anything uncomfortable or anything that resembled a face to face awkward rejection. Their friendship was important to her; hers with them, and theirs with each other.

Normally, work days felt long and dragged on, but since Jein was anxious about tonight, it figures, the day zoomed right on by. Soon enough, it was time to leave. Heading home for a quick shower and a change, Jein left to see Jimin. The whole drive there, she was nervous and kept finding herself gripping the steering wheel too tight.

"Maybe I shouldn't have let this happen. Tae was so sweet and Jimin was a mystery, I couldn't help but become interested in them. What if delving into his past too fast pushes him away? He's come so far already, I don't want him to crawl back into that painful hole alone... I shouldn't have let them kiss me yet. Jimin wasn't ready."

'Be right down.' – Jimin

Down the hall, the elevator opens and the light from it can be seen from the glass doors. A light comes on in the main lobby and Jimin walks towards the doors and unlocks them.
