England England England. I'm finally here. The place of my dreams, there was no place I'd rather be then here right now. This is a totally new experience for me since I'm from America, to be more specific I'm from Ohio. I used to live in the middle of nowhere so you didn't really see big buildings and it was really quite, but I'm ready for all of that to change I ready to live in a city. Or shall I say THE city.
Well my name is Olivia. I have light summer leave green eyes, light brown wavy hair and I'm about 5'2. Ya I'm short. My whole family is pretty much short. But anyways the reason why I'm here in England is I really have a passion for photography and over here is the most beautiful place you could go to take pictures. I've already been in college for about 2 years and that was enough. Hopefully while I'm over here I will try and find a magazine corporation that is willing to see my work and give me a chance.
So right now I just got off the plane and I'm really tired. My flight finally took off at 10:00 AM and the time here in England is 5:00 PM.
I already bought a apartment here in England and by looking at the pictures on the website it should be pretty nice. All I can say is it better be for the price I had to pay.
I decided that I would call my parents maybe tomorrow, I really don't feel like talking to my mom on the phone for an hour while trying to get home. My mom talks a lot, but anyways I decided to make my way to a coffee shop so that I could at least try to make an effort to wake myself up. But first I'd have to find one.
I tried walking around some part of the city with my duffel bag, but with my luck I couldn't find a coffee shop anywhere. So I decided to wave a taxi down. Sadly I've never been in a taxi so waving one down was a total new experience for me. I stood there shaking my hand vigorously in the air for about a minute or 2 before finally a taxi drove up next to me.
I quickly jumped into the taxi and surprisingly it didn't smell bad. I thought that since almost everyone here in England uses taxis it would smell like a barn, but nope it just smelled, well normal.
"Where to?" the man with the British accent asked me interrupting my thoughts.
"Um, to a good coffee shop please."
The man said no more and just started to drive. I hoped that the drive wouldn't be long because if it was then I would probably fall right asleep in the back of the taxi. Not a good way to start in a new place.
Luckily the drive was only about 5 minutes.
"!0 pounds." the man blankly told me.
I quickly pulled out my wallet from my back pocket and placed the money in his hand. I then quickly jumped out of the taxi ready to actually get some coffee and wake myself up before going on a scavenger hunt to find my place. I slowly walked up to the coffee shops front doors and walked in. There was somewhat of a short line but I would probably have to stand there for about 4 minutes before actually getting my coffee.
So while waiting I decided to look at the tv that the shop had. They were watching the news. They reporters were talking about some robbery that happened last week and how they finally caught the guys. After that story ended the reporters started to talk about the band One Direction and how they were ending their tour. I love One Direction so when they said there name I was fully awake. I was so awake that I almost thought I wouldn't need coffee anymore.
They are a really good band though, also they are all really cute, but if I ever met them I wouldn't like scream in their faces and cry. I would act like a normal person, because if you really think of it they are just regular people, but they are also special people. They are people that have saved many life but just don't know it.
