Buzz! Buzz!
I groaned inwardly and strutted towards the intercom. It was my mother reminding me that it was my first day of school. Absolutely wonderful. I had completely forgotten that there was such a system. Reality surely has a way to hit you. I rolled my eyes and headed towards the bathroom . I took a quick shower and other necessary hygienic stuffs.
With a big fluffy towel wrapped around my body , I went to walk in closet searching for something first day worthy to wear to school. I finally settled with a white crop top, black ripped jeans and my black boots along with my jacket. Applied a light amount of makeup and headed downstairs with my bag swinging from my shoulder.
Upon reaching the kitchen, my nostrils were hit with the amazing smell of blueberry pancakes with syrup and a steaming cup of hot chocolate. I had forgotten how wonderful my mom was in the kitchen. But why was she even cooking, doesn't this place have maids are something and that Butler guy always about brushing down something. Cliche.
"Smells good mom." i smiled, then asked in confusion." but doesn't this place have maids?"
"Well yea. I just missed being in the kitchen you know. Told em they'll cook for you when I'm not around or if I'm home late are something."
I nodded in agreement.-------------------
Westchester High. I mumbled to my self when mom pulled up into the school. Well this is it. The school is kinda ordinary, which is good i think. Don't think I would have survived if it was a preppy school."Have a great day." My mom wished me as a closed the truck door. I turned around and stare up at the school. I took a deep breath in, held my head high and strutted towards the building.
Everyone, like every single soul was staring at me. Do i have something on my face, maybe my makeup is too heavy. Feeling a bit self-conscious , I can feel my self slowly shying away. But I will not let them see me squirm beneath there scrutinizing glare, I kept my head high and continued walking. I just kept on walking even though I had no clue where I was heading. I rolled my eyes in defeat.
And just like any another school, you have the cliche set of cheer leading girls who feels as if they own the school. I sighed at how cliche this situation is as I watched the slutty looking girls in their way too small uniform walked up to me.
"So your the new girl?" The leader I presumed stated the obvious. No denying the fact that she's gorgeous but she over doing her self with all the makeup and way too small clothes. " hey. I'm talking to you?"
"Ugh" I deadpanned." That was an actual question. Ugh. I thought it was quite obvious that I was new here." .
Everyone in the newly gathered crowd starting to hoot and cheered at my comeback. Typical highschool.
"Well bitch." She sneered." This is my school and you better watch your back."
" I see . I swore I could have seen Westchester high out front. Not Wanna be Queen Bitch High. " Everyone hooted again. She opened her mouth to reply but I beat her to it,"I think this conversation is over." I nodded, held my head high a stormed passed her lightly brushing against her shoulder.
I hurriedly turned a corned and let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. That went well. Now, back to finding that damn office.
"Hey." I heard someone say behind me. I turned around a saw a beautiful girl behind me. Her clothing style was weird but i liked it. Its like Gothic mixed with hippie. Her black hair have various different color highlights, it was cool. He face was round and heavily colored with mascara which made her blue eyes appear larger.
" saw what happened in the hall. Your like a bitch with teeth." i instantly liked her."why thank you umm.." I said not knowing her name.
" oh yea. I'm Emily." She smiled. She's really beautiful and she probably don't even know it.
" I'm Catherine, you can call me Cathy." I grinned.
Emily showed me to the office, where i collected my schedule. She matched it with hers, we have almost all classes together except electives. She's in music class. It really isn't hard in guessing what type of music she listen to and I'm aware I'm stereotyping her but could you blame me. My elective is art class. Art is my passion. I got that talent from my father , he was a great artist and he's my inspiration.
After leaving the office we headed to English class.
"Well hello there. Your both late." Our English teacher crossed her arms around her torso.
"I'm sorry. I got lost on my way to the office and Emily helped me." i handed her the letter.
"OK Catherine Sullivan. " she peered down on the paper. " take a seat both of you."
--------------------------
Before I knew it it was already lunch break. Emily and i quickly left the maths room and returned our books back to our lockers which were both side by side. We laughed at how cliche it was.We went to cafeteria shortly after, collected our lunch and now i'm seated around Emily table with her friends.
"Hey guys this is Cathy. Cathy this is Aiden." she showed me a guy. He was like a freaking model. Messy dark hair falling over is brown eyes, straight nose with a plump heart shaped lips and chiseled jaw. He was seriously packing some muscles. I can see his six packing lining out against his white tee and the tattoos. He skin was very pale though, like he hadn't been out in the sun for days.
"Hey." He said and I was a bit taken back by his deep baritone voice. He was aggravatingly sexy.
'Hii." I blushed crimson. I saw his mouth corner twitch a little, like he's holding back a smile.
"Soooo. Moving on," Emily snickered, Aiden laughed at her." This is Jake."
Jake was handsome also, blonde tousled hair, blue eyes and a round baby face. He was also built to kill. Was all her friends undeniable gorgeous and sexy."Hey." I said to him. He smiled and nodded. Ain't much of a talker I see.
" And last but not least Raven." I guess I don't have to tell you how beautiful she is. She has long pink hair, yes pink that flows in waves down her back. Her features are extremely soft. She is extremely adorable with big green eyes and a small pouty lips.
"Hello." She timidly says. Even her voice is soft and adorable. She looks like the type who would never get angry at a person. Somebody who if spoken too harsh to, would lock away in a bathroom stall and cry. And I suddenly just felt a wave of protectiveness wash over me for her. I smiled at her and rubbed the back of her hands gently.
I'm going to fit in just fine here.
